We chose this property for a staff retreat and I am glad we did. We were greeted by the Elk shortly after our arrival. We watched them eat and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings the property is located on. The house itself was clean, stocked with the usual home comforts and very spacious. Jane was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed before and during our stay. She was available for last minute phone calls/emails and very accommodating. I highly recommend the property and look forward to possibly visiting it again.

3 couples spent a long weekend relaxing in this beautiful house. It was so peaceful, we sat and listened to the wind blowing through the trees and watched the elk and squirrels come up to eat. We all loved it. Thank you for allowing us to stay in this amazing place.

Our family had the pleasure of staying at Eagles Retreat last weekend. Words cannot express the joy, serenity and fun we packed into a few days at this home. It provides something for everyone in a very welcoming and well-stocked setting. We brought only food, clothes and binoculars - everything else was already there, clean and available for our use. Our experiences included hiking, playing cornhole, ping pong, foosball, badminton, and board games - all there and ready to use. But mostly it was sitting on the wraparound deck and watching nature. We saw birds, squirrels and many elk! The Bell family was amazing to work with and provided everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Jane was so quick to answer my many questions and provided extra info including places close by to visit. But we didn't want to leave our "little slice of heaven" so we just stayed and enjoyed our time there. Our next trip maybe we'll venture out, or just stay and relax and enjoy Eagles Retreat. We recommend you stay there too.

We reached there day after snowing in March, kids loved sledding that day. Next day snow melted and we all enjoyed playing Volleyball. Also went for a hike at fossil creek. I would recommend this property for anyone who wants a quite getaway from their routine life. It's just couple of hours drive from Chandler. Thank you

Truly a great get away. Home is clean and well kept. Owner was a pleasure to deal with! Lots of extras that made our weekend feel very much like being in our own home. Definitely looking forward to renting the house again.

Stayed over President´s Day weekend. Was fortunate to get some snow. The kids loved sledding in the snow, watching the elk, exploring in the woods, playing ping pong and fooseball. We enjoyed the many games, warm fire with plenty of wood ready, and spaciousness of the house. Would recommend it for sure.

I took a group of leaders up for a three day retreat. They all said their favorite part was the deer and bird watching.

Family, food, cold weather and lots of elk! Perfect Thanksgiving. The owner, Jane, was so easy to work with and catered to every need. The house was clean and comfortable, the grounds were amazing. Anything and everything for the kids. Definitely we will be back again! Thanks Jane!

My 3 siblings and elderly father met at Eagles Retreat for a 4 night stay and could not have been more pleased. The home is comfortable, beautiful and well equiped. We watched elk, javelina, coyote and many different species of birds form the patio and even from inside at night due to the automatic, motion sensing lighting system. The hosts took great care of us but were not intrusive. The location, adjacent to the national forest, was a perfect quiet and picturesque location. We´d stay there again given the opportunity, it was great!

This property is spacious--great for large families. Wildlife is right at the backdoor. My grandchildren enjoyed feeding the squirrels and birds, and riding on the tire swing. Mrs.Bell, the property owner, was very helpful and gracious. We are thankful we had the opportunity to spend time in Strawberry.

If you want to get away with family or friends for a respite from the stress of work and daily routing, this is the place! To top it off, Jane is so friendly and helpful, you will enjoy talking to her for getting ideas of things to do in the area, and especially the wildlife that stops by the property on a daily basis. Feeding the elk and watching them from the back porch was wonderful, watching the afternoon/evening thunderstorms and lightning was amazing as well. I would definitely recommend Eagle's Retreat, especially with a large group!

Absolutely beautiful scenic location. The elks came to visit us daily. Spacious house. Lots of amenities. There lots of games for the kids of all ages. Jane was absolutely nice. The house is very high tech. Will be back!

Wonderful place for a large group to congregate, we had lots of fun memories playing the games in the garage and gazing at the amazing Elk that arrived every day. The squirrels were very entertaining also. Highly recommend for families or close friends gathering anytime of the year. We will be back!

Our stay was onenof our greatest experiences. My siblings and I really enjoyed the amenities and the scenery. My nephews were enthralled with the elk. We have great pictures to memorize our stay. Thank you Mrs. Bell for making our stay such a pleasant experience.

Our Quilting Club thoroughly enjoyed our time at Eagles's Retreat. We had 19 ladies over the period of a week. There was plenty of room for us to sew, eat, play games and rest. We really enjoyed watching the elk and the birds. We were amazed at the number of different types of birds we saw. Jane was very helpful in every way. She answered every question and request immediately and worked with us in setting up the many sewing stations. I would recommend this home to any one who is looking for a beautiful place to stay. Thank you, Jane for a wonderful time.

A wonderful place to escape and enjoy the cool pines. It was so much fun to watch the elk come and eat and to feed the squirrels. I took my family (children and grandchildren) and we all had a wonderful time. Plenty of rooms, beds and supplies. I love this place! Already thinking of when we can return.

We had a reunion with my husbands 3 brothers and their wives. The cabin size was great and the kitchen was large enough to accommodate all 4 women. Be aware there are notes taped all over the cabin with do's and don'ts____ take only 2 minute showers, take your shoes off when using the stairs, rules regarding the deck, etc.!!! Also there are do-dads all over the cabin___beware if you have children! Why these are there in a rental is beyond me. There is required cleaning to do before you leave----vacuum, dust,mop floors,etc, all I consider heavy cleaning. We have stayed with rent by owners numerous times and have never been required to do all this cleaning! We really felt we could't fully relax the entire time we were there.

I cannot recommend this retreat highly enough! This is a beautiful home tucked away just far enough from the main road to give one the feeling of privacy. The windows give an incredible view of the forest, and there are chairs all along the wrap around deck as well. We were able to feed the curious squirrels and enjoy all the various species of birds visiting the feeders. The property makes for fun nature walks, complete with tree swings and a volley ball court. We were even lucky enough to sit tucked away in the cozy kitchen and watch the snow fall softly to blanket the trees. If that isn't enough, there is a garage full of games to enjoy. To top off a perfect weekend, we got to see the beautiful elk come to visit at night. The home is programmed to dim the lights inside and turn them on outside so you know they are there and they don't scare away The owner provides a ton of information on sight seeing, and checks in to make sure you are comfortable and don't need anything. The home is spacious and fully stocked. There are enough beds to bring the whole family, or just use the ones you need and enjoy a small group. We can't wait to come back!

I have stayed at Eagle's Retreat 3 times now and it has been fabulous every time. It is so spacious and has many comfortable seating areas. Everything works great and there are ample windows with screens to pull in the fresh breezes while keeping out the bugs. We've only used two of the bedrooms but there are so many beds in this house you can use if you have a large group. The best part of this cabin is the view and the wildlife. We enjoyed feeding squirrels all day long on the deck railing (Jane provides the peanuts) and of course the evening viewing of the elk is fantastic. The house is rigged so that you are notified when they arrive and you can watch without scaring them away. So much thought was put into this house, I would never consider staying anywhere else now when I want to get away from the valley. Another thing is for those with limited mobility, this place is for you. There are no steps from the drive way to the house and 2 bedrooms downstairs. Perfection!!

Our group absolutely loved this home!! Not only was it clean and comfortable, the views were amazing and the evening visitors (Elk) were incredible! At one point there were approx 20 elk in the backyard visiting. The big windows allowed us to view them without scaring them away. The amenities inside the house were amazing as well...a large dining area for our entire group, a full kitchen and 2 refrigerators!! The owners are very nice to work with and I felt absolutely at home at Eagles Retreat. I recommend it to any family or special group as there is plenty of space!

The property is absolutely beautiful! Suitable for big or small groups! Easy access to many fun places close by. Jane, the owner, is very kind, warm, flexible and easy to work with. The rental rate is very sweet! Definitely will introduce the place to friends and plan to come back again!

This was a great rental for a girls' getaway weekend! Jane, the owner, is quick to respond and great to work with. The property is well-stocked and clean and located in a beautiful area. Wildlife abounds and the views are great. Perfect location for a large group, retreat, or family reunion whether you want to just relax and enjoy the large patio, or take advantage of great hiking and exploring. Will definitely visit again!
