We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. We live locally in home with a community pool but we thought family would enjoy a private pool. The pool was only marginally warm enough but our 9 and 11 year olds didn't care; they had a blast and we just braved the slightly chilly water to have fun with them. We all loved the pontoon boat for a short ride in the evenings. Very fun. And four of the six of us spent literally hours fishing from the boat or dock. It is catch-and-release and they never caught anything but saw enough fish to keep them trying! The pool table was used some, along with the electronic dart board. There are bikes in the garage but we didn't use those either. Beds were exceptionally comfortable with nice linens. We hopefully will return. Thank you Doug.

Home was lovely and offered many amenities. However, we had hoped to enjoy the pool more, but even with being heated, very cold, especially for kids. It also had a leak which required filling up with a hose. Pool light was out, so evening swims out too! Extremely cloudy water until pool man arrived. At that point, we only had one day left to fully enjoy. Yard maintenance crew arrived same day which interrupted lunch on patio. Instruction book for operating various features of home outdated. Home did offer great view of lake and was spacious for the two families that used it. We appreciated having kitchen fulled stocked with cooking essentials, swim towels and family board games. Overall good stay.

We had a great week here! Fully appointed with everything you need. Pool, kayak, pontoon boat, pool table and lots of space for everyone to spread out. We were two families of three and were never on top of each other. Close to restaurants, grocery stores and spring training. Doug was a perfect host, available if we had any questions. Loved it. Highly recommend.

My husband and I, along with his brother and wife, just spent a month at this beautiful property on Arrowhead Lakes. It was a perfect place to get away from the cold in Minnesota. The home is well maintained and provides everything needed for a comfortable stay. We have rented many homes through VRBO in the past ten years and this is one of the best. Because we enjoy cooking, we were particularly pleased with how well the kitchen was equipped. Our first week there was very warm so we elected to heat the pool for a few days which was a nice bonus. We did not choose to use the pontoon but enjoyed waving to others as they took their evening cruise on the lagoon. The sunsets over the water were incredible. We hope to rent this home again.

We have stayed in many VRBO homes over the years and this one is definitely at the top of the list. There is something so enticing about the Arizona desert in the fall and you can enjoy it in this beautiful home. We watched the sunrise from the back patio facing the lack and watch the sunset on the dock. The house has everything you can think of. It's a beautiful home and you will be very comfortable here. (Let me offer one helpful bit of advice. I didn't know until I got there that you need insurance to use the boat. You should buy this from VRBO before you get there if you want to use the boat - and I recommend you do.)

Great place that has it all! Would stay there everytime I am in town if available. I would plan my trip around the house being open. Very relaxing place and made our trip amazing. The owner was super to deal with and never had any issues at all. Great experience overall!

We took a quick trip to Phoenix for my father's 60th birthday and rented this house for a place to stay with my son who is allergic to dogs. The house was super clean when we arrived, which was a breath of fresh air! The pool was so fun for my kids. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean and everything worked like a charm. Really enjoyed this rental and am definitely going to book again next time we visit the Valley.

This property was perfect for our family get away. So comfortable, roomy and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed being out on the lake and hanging out playing pool. Great hiking within a few minutes too.

House was larger than it looked in photos. Very nice property. Went for a family labor day reunion in North Phx area. Close to University of Phx Stadium were we took in a game. Hard to find anything negative to say.

Six of us cousins stayed in Doug's wonderful home on Arrowhead Lake for a week of baseball spring training games, the NASCAR race, and enjoying some of the other great places in the Phoenix area. We felt right at home in the spacious accommodations, had a blast shooting pool, playing card and darts, fishing off the dock, and oohing and awwing every night at the sunset view from the comfy back patio. The home is very convenient to grocery stores, restaurants, and Hwy 101. In fifteen minutes we were at the ball park each day. We even took in a couple of nearby casinos. The only amenity we didn't use was the swimming pool, as we decided not to pay the extra fee to run the pool heater, and in March the air was not really warm enough to heat the water to our preference. Thank you, Doug, for making our "bucket list" week so pleasant.

It was perfect and beautifully decorated. We loved our stay and would do it again. The whole family came and the accommodations were comfortable. Doug did a great job of remodeling. The location was perfect to see hockey and spring training. Nearby restaurants and shopping were convenient and we had good food and service. The view is beautiful and the backyard relaxing. We even did yoga on the grass in the am which was so serene. Thank you for opening your home.
