Guys trip with the jeep. Cabin was perfect. Lots of trails near by, excellent fire pit in the back yard. Very clean house with everything you need.

This is our second time renting the Dines family cabin in Payson. We love it! The home had a fresh look inside and has been kept up so well. It was spotlessly clean with plenty of home amenities and a great supply of wood for the fireplace and fire pit. We enjoyed the game closet and lots of games of pool. We had a fabulous time hiking down to nearby stream and generally staring up at tall pines, starry skies and on our last day, magical snow! We had a fun trip out to Tonto bridge but otherwise had so much fun relaxing in this peaceful home. BJ is consistently helpful with directions and communications. A great VRBO experience. Highly recommend.

The property looks good in the pictures, but in person it is much better. My kids loved the tire swing on the property, outside Jenga. Lots to do, even though it rained for most of the weekend we were there we were never bored. BJ sent great directions to get to the property without us getting lost. We did see wildlife around the property, elk, cattle and squirrels. Not a neighbor in sight from the property, we had to take a walk to see other homes in the area. Home is spacious that it never feels crowded.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was in great shape, very well maintained, and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. It is very secluded and quiet. There was lots of open space in the house and plenty of deck space as well for being outdoors. Our only drawback was the directions required an odometer with 1/10 of mile increments as we needed to go exactly 2 miles from a specific point and our digital odometer doesn't have those increments. We were able to contact the owner via cell (which is rather spotty in this area) and we were guided right in after we had already past the turn in. Once we found it, it was great!

Perfect for a group of old time friends to get away for a relaxing weekend within 2 hours driving distance. BJ was great to work with and had thing set up in such a way that require minimal contact during our two day stay. Everyone loved it, and we´d do it again.

Lovely clean and well-appointed home. Although our stay was brief, the house certainly had everything we needed, with lots of games, Direct TV and a pool table. The owner was very nice to deal with and, since everything went well and worked right, we didn't have to put anything or anyone to the test.

Our family of four had a superb time at Mr. BJ Dine´s cabin. Lots to see and do on the property (Fire pit, star gazing, tire swinging, geode hunting, pool, board games) and nearby (Hike to a nearby stream and Waterwheel, Tonto Bridge, Geode Hill, etc) We were happy with the bedding, the cleanliness and had pleasant and prompt communications with the owner. This home can easily accommodate a few more people than we had, but we really enjoyed the chance to relax, spread out and play in the bright, spacious cabin. The master shower is really fun, three windows look out onto the pines. Beautiful sunsets visible against the Mogollon Rim from the back porch. If you are considering this cabin, don´t hesitate, it´s awesome!

We had such a wonderful time staying at BJ's cabin! It was exactly what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle and just relax! The cabin had everything we needed and then some! We even brought board games thinking surely we would want some but BJ already had a ton of options to choose from. We were able to sit on the upper deck and enjoy the beautiful night sky after sitting around the fire before bed. We followed one of BJ's suggestions on hikes and went to a nearby creek, it was nice to be able to just walk around and go nowhere fast in such a beautiful and remote place. : ) We will absolutely be back to this secluded slice of heaven! Thanks so much BJ!

We were really out in the forest at this beautiful cabin! BJ thought of everything for people to come and enjoy their stay! It was so relaxing and the views of the rim were breath taking! BJ was very responsive to any questions we had and even offered suggestions for things to do in the surrounding area. Their game room had so much to offer! We will definitely be staying at this homey cabin in the future!

I´ve rented a lot of homes from HomeAway but this is definitely one of my favorites!! They definitely put a lot of love into building this house and it´s super private, so you don´t have to worry about bugging the neighbors! BJ went out of his way to answer all of my questions and was always easy to get a hold of. We will definitely be renting again! Thanks!!

This was my second stay at this property and I will continue to come back. My family and I enjoyed our stay as it brought our family even closer together. We were enjoying the board games instead of being plugged into our cell phones. We spent a great deal of quality time together it. We did a hike near the cabin. Played outside yes us adults. Everyone appreciated the scenery from any room you stayed in. You truly disconnect from the city life. Soon my family will be leaving back to Texas but the memories will remain with me. My family and I loved our visit despite an issue with water level, the property owner was proactive and notified me before my stay and he worked to resolve it. He continued to remain in contact with me to ensure the water levels had improved. I look forward to another stay in 2018!

This is an absolutely beautiful property! The cabin was very comfortable for our group of 8 people and has everything in it you could possibly need. It was the perfect place for us. My granddaughter loved the tire swing outside and we all enjoyed the game room inside! The owner was wonderful--very helpful and quick to respond to my messages and questions. Thank you BJ for making my first VRBO experience such a pleasant one! Hope to return to this beautiful place again some day!

Part of our family went up for an annual weekend trip and had a great time. Great place for kids and adults alike. Plenty to do both inside the house and outdoors. Several great hikes nearby. Cabin was very well kept, cozy, and relaxing. Communication with the owner was also very easy.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. There was six of us that stayed at the cabin and had plenty of personal space. It was for my birthday weekend and I wanted to spend time with my children and husband. Everyone seemed to have a great time. There was plenty to do at the cabin from playing bags, board games, playing a game or two of pool and even taking some hikes down to Verde Valley River. BJ was very responsive to my text messages so that was very comforting. The house was very clean and the kitchen well stocked with all you would need to cook a meal or BBQ. The cabin has some great windows to see all the trees outside but, if you enjoy darkness when you sleep I would suggest to bring something to cover your eyes. Most of the road getting to the cabin is paved but some is dirt roads. Which are well maintained. There are a few hikes on the way to the cabin but they were all closed due to the flood so we were not able to enjoy them. I would recommend this cabin for the location and how peaceful the area is. Thank you for letting us stay.

My first time using VRBO and the whole process is easy. Communicating with the home owner was easy and very helpful for home instructions and info about the area. The Dines cabin is so bright and open and offers all the amenities you would need. It also has a great outdoor space with front and back decks, fire pits and a balcony to view some mountain tops.

Beautiful cabin in the woods with 3 bedrooms and three full baths! The kitchen is large and has all the necessities. The grill on the deck is massive and easy to use. The beds are comfy and there are lots of throw blankets to snuggle up with in the cozy chairs or couches by the fire. If you like hiking bring your boots because there is a lot to see. If not enjoy the scenic views from the decks or the massive windows. All in all the perfect long weekend retreat. Heck I wouldn't mind spending a whole week here if I could find the time.

Came up for a girl's weekend and we really enjoyed our experience here! The house is gorgeous and comfortable sleeps 10. Fully equipped kitchen for cooking and great balcony to relax with a glass of wine. Nice quiet atmosphere and we enjoyed our nature hikes and ELK sightings! An additional plus is that the owner was super helpful and easy to work with. We bombarded the poor guy with phone calls and he was very patient and informative. All around fantastic experience!

This was the perfect house for what we needed! We had two families and we felt very comfortable here with enough room for everyone to relax! Loved that their was 3 full bathrooms! Kids had a blast exploring!! Thanks for a great weekend!
