A wonderful place for my family to stay so that we could be close to family in Oro Valley. Casita was well stocked with the essentials. It w as so quiet and peaceful in the evening and the mornings. We will definitely check for availability when we are headed back to Tucson!

The owners were VERY flexible. We were in town to visit family. A bedroom at our marana house became available and some of our other family members were able to take our place at the casita so that I could be closer to help my father at his home in marana. Thanks you for being so amenable.

The house was perfect for our family of 4 visiting other family for the holidays. The house is fully furnished and the private view out the back is amazing.

Excellent landlords - very helpful and knowledgeable; great place for older adults wishing a quiet place away from city and with a desert for back yard. Maybe one of the best views of Catalina mountains including Mt Lemmon you can find in a rental. Sitting on patio, watching sun change the colors on mountain range in late afternoon was my favorite time there. I could go on and on but I don't want it to get booked up too fast for next year(: }

Having never been to Tucson, we were not sure how the location would work out but it turns out it couldn't be better. Very convenient, comfortable and private. The owners are fantastic as well. It would be hard to find a better situation in Tucson - well done!

 5.0   -   Lovely little casita

This casita was just perfect for my wife and me for our first ever visit to the Tucson area. It was every bit "as advertised" and more. It is indeed secluded and quit. You would think you were out in the middle of the desert by yourself. But just a few minutes drive takes you to anything you need for shopping, restaurants, etc. Even though it was just a one bedroom casita, it's openness made it feel like it was much bigger than it was. It has a very "high end" feel and was very well maintained. It is very nicely appointed and equipped with all you need for an extended stay...except for a toaster. There was a nice toaster oven but it is not the best way to make toast. I really liked the living room's HDTV that was a full DirectTV hookup including DVR...something you don't usually get. And there is another HDTV in the bedroom. Speaking of the bedroom...the king sized bed with one of those high quality memory foam mattresses was one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept on. The bathroom was quite luxurious with a huge walk-in shower. The views out the back into the Catalina Mountains were very nice. Each day provided a different sunrise and sunset experience. Out front you had essentially a whole desert to wonder around in and get up close (but don't get TOO close) and personal with about any kind of cacti you can imagine. And the sunsets from that angle were also spectacular and different most days. The owners, Chip and Cheryl, were great to work with. I can't imagine there is any better place for an extended visit to the Tucson area.

Everything about this lodging was wonderful. It is private, extremely clean, well furnished and set in a lovely location. The "casita" itself was very spacious and extremely nicely decorated in a Southwestern motif. All the amenities needed are there and in good supply. We really enjoyed sitting out on the patio watching the full moon rising over the Catalina Mountains. We very much recommend this for a great get-away in Oro Valley. The only word of advice is that you do need to drive about a half-mile or so of small dirt road to reach this terrific place.

Just as they described it -- and more! This lovely casita was the perfect place for us to stay as we did our own househunting in the Tucson area. Not an ammenity was overlooked and the sunsets and quiet country air were a welcome after long days w/realtors. We feel so fortunate to have stayed there a week, it was perfect!

The casita was just perfect for the two of us--new, very clean and nicely decorated with all the comforts of home! The location was just out of "town", yet still very close to grocery stores, restaurants, golf, etc. Thanks for the hospitality!
