Had a lovely stay in this warm, cosy and spacious home. Everything that we could have wanted or needed on our vacation was at our fingertips. The house was in a great location, very close to town and all conveniences.

The cabin is a perfect location , close to town , yet nestled in the woods ! Great fooor plan , very quaint and clean ! Close to Pine , Strawberry 🍓� and town of Payson ! Kim was great to work with! Great communication and our family enjoyed the cabin so much !!! The only reason it didn´t get 5 stars ⭐️ is the fireplace (which was a huge reason why I chose this cabin ) kept breaking !! Very disappointing , we did not get to enjoy a cozy fire the first night or the last night of our 3 night stay , and it snowed (which was so amazing ), but missed the warmth and ambience of the fire ! Very sad about that ! But otherwise a great place !!! Would recommend it !!!! May go back this summer !

We spent Christmas at the cabin. It was what we expected and more. We played games, barbecued, took walks. Only downside we didn't get snow, but that's ok. The time spent with my family is unforgettable. Very peaceful, quiet location.

Would have been 5 stars except we couldn´t get WiFi in the casita it was a great getaway.close to restaurants and shopping but still feeling like your out in the wilderness..we will definitely stay here again

Location was wonderful.. set back in a nice setting.. We felt it had an that old dated feeling though.. not much else to say except a list of things to not do.. they must of had some bad experiences with others who have stayed there.

This property was perfect for our weekend getaway. We had 6 adults, which meant we also used the casita. The place was very clean, and we'd gladly stay again, thanks Kim!

Perfectly centrally located 3 minutes from softball fields we were in town for! Very secluded feeling though which made it wonderful!

Great place to stay w dog. Our dog had a blast and early morning getting out was no issue w gated dog run beside house. Cabin was roomy where we had 2 familys able to enjoy while inside during the rain. Outside is large enough to not feel crowded both on deck and below. We did not get the casita, BUT we are thinking for next time we can have even more room. Cabin is near town, which I was worried would be an issue, as our normal cabin we rent is farther into the mountain and a drive to get into town, this cabin did allow the feel of being out of town, even w neighbors around, note neighbors have dogs, too. This did not bother us as we love dogs. I was pleasantly pleased, plus the trip to a store was within reach, if needed. Or in our case we were lucky enough to have someone willing to run to Dairy Queen, which did not take long. Basic needs were met for humans and pets (dishes/pet bed) if you needed it. We would recommend this cabin to others seeking a nice cool get away.

This was a great property for our family of 6. The 3 bedrooms provided plenty of room for us. My daughter brought her blow-up mattress so we didn't use the pull-out sofa but that was available too if we needed it. The property is large and we had fun playing lawn darts and beanbag toss (we brought both). The kids enjoyed exploring the property, the dog run was convenient, and the fun large rock formation was a big draw for the kids (they climbed right up). My easily-bored children walked to the mini-mart and Walmart several times - never would have guessed they're so close given the look of the property which was woodsy and quaint. We loved the outdoor patio and grill. The kitchen was well-stocked and clean. Fun board games and puzzles were provided. Plenty of linens. Easy check-in and check-out with great communication from the host; fast response time. We loved seeing the stars at night (so much brighter than in the city!) and hearing all the nighttime woodsy sounds. This was a nice long-weekend away from the Phoenix heat.

This is a beautiful home with a lot of character. There was 8 of us and we all enjoyed staying there and saw a dozen or so of elk pass by the back of the property. Awesome big deck in the back was great for playing games at night when it cooled down. Conveniently located and close to good restaurants. I will definitely stay here again.

This home is a good VRBO, located extremely convenient to town. The home has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The decorations and furniture are a bit dated, but in decent shape. There was a table and chairs on the outside on the deck, that could use a good scrubbing. If you want to sit on the deck and enjoy the cool evening, I'd recommend you bring a few lounge/deck chairs. The home had everything you needed for a nice weekend. We did not have any animals but if you did, it provided lots of outdoor space for your doggies. The owner was extremely nice and very responsive. The only reason I didn't give it a five star rating is because it could use some updates in furniture, and definitely provide deck seating. Overall it was a decent home, in a safe area and extremely convenient to everything we were doing in the Payson area. I would recommend renting this home because it's a great size in a terrific location.

It had everything we needed to entertain family. We BBQ and sat on the porch watching the birds. The house feels secluded but your really close to town. Couldn't of asked for a better stay. Thanks!

Even though the property is located right off the main road and close to the "city", it is set back in a wooded area so you still feel a sense of seclusion and privacy. However, it was nice being able to run to Walmart or hit the corner Circle K when we needed something. We rented both the main house and the casita and were extremely pleased with how much room we had to accommodate 9 adults and 2 dogs. The entire deck is fenced in with an outlet to the dog run which was a great feature, especially at night when it was dark :) My husband is a Chef and he was extremely pleased with how well stocked the kitchen was with all the necessary cooking utensils, pots, pan, dishes, etc. The owners communicated quickly and effectively throughout the entire process and we really enjoyed our stay here and are already planning a return trip! Thank you!

This property was everything my family had hoped for. Plenty of sleeping space..comfortable kitchen and entertaining space. The cabin was very close to town yet we felt we were in the country. We loved the huge yard and the sound of the wind in the pines. We will definitely go again. Kim was very accommodating and easy to work with. Thanks again Kim!!

Mismatched, worn out furnishings (dining table kind of wobbly). Kitchen floor tile scratched and chipped, strange assortment of old kitchen utensils (no scissors), master bath toilet seat didn't fit properly and house seemed to be poorly insulated which created periods of overheating followed by intense cold. Close to town, though, and the dog run would be great if renters have animals. The dishwasher worked well, too.

We shared this house with two families for a softball tournament in town. The accomodations were fantastic, as well as the ammenities. The house was fully stocked with all the needed supplies. The location was hard to beat. Friendly and easy communications. Thanks so much for letting us rent your casa! We hope to be back in the near future!

We had a great time here for our son's birthday weekend! The home is right off of the beeline but tucked at the end of a culdesac in the woods. Close to everything in town but a feeling of seclusion. The boys had so much room outside to play and the girls used the board games and puzzles to play with great grandma. We highly recommend this home for your stay in the high country.

We are a group of knitters on a retreat. The ladies loved the accommodations with only a few exceptions. The kitchen was a great size and layout for our large group! The daytime lighting was terrific for knitting. The list of rules to allow deposit refund was clear and concise. Our only issues were minimal. We didn't feel there was enough comfort seating for 10 adults in the living room/dining area. A few of us were always at the kitchen table. Limited nighttime lighting options created challenges for knitting and reading after sundown. The outdoor stairs and bench seating needs some tlc, we had some splinters to deal with. Make sure you have someone in your party able-bodied enough to drag the trashcans uphill to the road. That was the only rule we felt was inappropriate to assign to renters.

Enjoyed our stay for a class reunion. Everything was as advertised. A little difficult to get the keys from the lock boxes. Lovely large deck and BBQ. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. Plenty of linens and towels. Many light bulbs burned out and sofas were uncomfortable. Nice large open area made it easy to visit.

We had a great stay at this beautiful home tucked away in the tall pines and in a quite culdasac, yet only minutes to town. The home is very clean and has everthing you could want, very nice!

What a gem! This cabin was fully stocked for everything we could possibly have needed, from kitchen necessities to entertainment bonus items. The beds were warm and comfortable, the deck was huge with more than enough seating for everyone, the yard was perfectly fenced for our dogs, and the location was perfectly situated for both rustic hiking and quick store runs. We've stayed in many cabins in the past, all with their own quirks and charm. This one takes the cake on charm and best time had by all. Thank you for allowing us to reconnect and unplug for a few days! We will definitely be back when life calls for another time out!
