This is a lovely home in a small neighborhood, where we were able to walk every day before driving out to enjoy the Phoenix area. Very close to the airport, convenient to Cactus League parks and some very excellent birding locations (do not miss the Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch or Gilbert Water Ranch as it is sometimes called!). Ten minutes to South Mountain Park. Short, easy drive to downtown and the excellent Heard Museums, Desert Botannical Gardens, Taliesen West. Inside -- well maintained, clean, and filled with those things travelers who cook "at home" need. Lots of plates, glasses, tableware, utensils, pans, cooking prep items, and something rarely found at a vacation rental -- sharp knives!!! There was a closet/pantry loaded with non-perishable food items, and a cupboard filled with herbs and spices. We follow the policy of replacing anything we use for cooking, but it was so nice to have things at the ready especially the first day. An added bonus was an indoor garage with auto door opener, laundry facilities we had not thought we would use -- but did, again laundry soap and dryer sheets were provided. We only make the spring baseball training trip every few years, and only hope Bill and Bonnie's home will be available for our next round.

The perfect getaway - Centrally located to everything (hiking, sightseeing, restaurants and grocery stores). Fully furnished with tons of extras - Every detail was thought of. We traveled in March with our 3 children and enjoyed numerous days of hiking, sightseeing and sun. The kids were able to swim a few afternoons and enjoyed the park next door as well which was an added bonus . The owners were extremely responsive and very welcoming. We would definitely recommend and hope to be back soon! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

It was perfect for our stay! Very quite neighborhood, close to almost anything. Bonnie was very sweet and quick to reply with any needs or questions. We felt right at home. We use VRBO everywhere we go. This home was stocked with the little extras we may have forgotten, sugar, detergent etc. We will def stay again!

This property was so perfect for our family of 5! It was clean and had everything we could possibly need. It is a super quick jaunt from PHX airport and just minutes to the Mormon Trailhead for hiking. We found a grocery store and were able to make all of our food in the home Bc they have ALL the necessities! Pots, pans, toaster, etc... Being able to have a washer and dryer was priceless for us! Our kiddos swam in the pool and had a blast! It isn´t heated, and they didn´t care. Bill and Bonnie even supply the pool towels. TV´s were great for evening downtime and having all of the extras (like bath wash and lotion, etc...) was so appreciated. We can´t wait to come back!! Our youngest used the sofa sleeper and was completely comfortable there. Bill and Bonnie have truly thought of everything to make this property feel welcoming with all of the comforts of home!

We really enjoyed our rental. It was convenient to everything. The community pool was great and we used it twice every day. The furniture was very comfortable. We would stay here again.

Bill and Bonnie have thought of everything! The house is well stocked with incidentals. Having extra trash bags, TP, paper towels, salt, pepper, oil is so important to being able to settle in and enjoy yourself without having to either bring it, or go buy it right when you get there. The ready-to-go pool floaties was great and with the pool just a short walk away we enjoyed it every evening. Everything was clean and comfortable. Having a garage space was a total bonus! The location is very convenient to nearby grocery stores, dining and activities. Our family enjoyed the convenience of being so close to our daughter's new home. We will definitely stay here again!

Very nice stay for my daughter and her family. Condition was great and food items in the kitchen were very appreciated. Only problem was the code was not set as we were told. Luckily we went over early and were finally able to get the owner to give us the real code. Our daughter and her family arrived around 11pm and would have been very frustrated with the over 1/2 hour it took to get in. This unit was much nicer than the one we stayed in at Hunter Ridge.

This house in Phoenix is by far the nicest I have stayed in since I started using Homeaway about 2 years ago. The owner's preparation for my visit was outstanding. They have really made this home very comfortable for the Homeaway customer. Thank you.

Always got back to us. Just need to make sure all working. SO much better and cheaper than a hotel room. Close to convention center. 10 minute driving. Would come back!

Excellent Home in an OK community of similar homes, condo's. We found the location fine, yet be aware that outside of community there are some "rough" areas nearby. Pool was not heated during our stay March 2018, owners could not find out when it was to be heated. (too cold to swim).

First, I want to comment on previous "commenters". When I read the few individuals that rated this a 3, I started to look more closely at the property. These individuals truly can't be serious? Their concerns were very ridiculous. I realized immediately that they were the type of people that were going to complain about anything. The property owners responses to them also sold me on the property. Bill and Bonnie answered their reviews with complete professionalism. I knew from their responses that this was the place I wanted! I would take the time and make jokes about their reviews, but I decided just stating that their reviews were ignorant would be enough. This property was perfect! We had it for the Thanksgiving holiday. What better way to be away from home and celebrate as a family the holiday! The property is clean. The rooms are beautiful. The appliances all were perfect. The decor was nice. The description of the property was stated well. The neighborhood was safe and some of the neighbors that we met while outside were friendly and fun to talk to. Families with small children live in this neighborhood! The neighborhood was clean and quiet. Bill and Bonnie communicate very well. They answer questions and resolve any concerns you may have. I guarantee that if we need to have a home again while visiting the Phoenix area, we will do this property again if available! Thanks guys!!

The townhouse is conveniently located to many popular locations in the area. We were in Phoenix to attend a conference at the convention center downtown and the drive each morning was about 15 minutes. We had some free time and had a short drive to shop in old town Scottsdale. We noticed that the Angels spring training ballpark was nearby for baseball lovers. Upon arrival the townhouse was easy to access, using a coded keypad, no need to keep track of a house key. The townhouse was sparkling clean, spacious, and the beds very comfortable. The townhouse community was quiet and there was a grocery store nearby. Overall we enjoyed each day spent in Phoenix.

When we arrived we had a minor issue with the property but I didn't get around to sending a message to Bonnie and Bill until about midnight (that's how minor it was). The following day the issue was corrected. The property was perfect and very comfortable. It is decorated beautifully and is within a mile of a shopping center with many stores and restaurants. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us Bonnie and Bill.

Thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary getaway to south Phoenix. Beautiful, modern, clean and safe detached townhouse steps from large pool and amazing palm trees. Well stocked with paper products, toiletries and food in pantry, thank you to our wonderful hosts. We arrived during record-breaking heat wave so enjoyed lunch and shopping in nearby Tempe, Chandler and Scottsdale ... during heat of the day. Pool morning mid afternoon into evening, perfect ! We have used VRBO.com at least a dozen times and this property we highly recommend. Can't wait to return, great memories.

Bill and Bonnie have an excellent place stocked with about everything you could need in a place close to check out all Phoenix has to offer along with easy access to the main attractions. In our 8 day stay we were able to check out the ballparks. Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, Tortilla Flat, Old Tucson and local Castles and coasters. We were also able to venture to Kingman, Laughlin for a day excursion. Having this place to come back to made it easier to recharge and venture some more. We are hoping to do this again soon!

Very nice home with quick access to South Mountain, downtown Phoenix, and the airport. The kitchen had all the necessities and toiletry items were well stocked. Having laundry in the garage was a nice bonus! One thing we didn't realize when booking was that the 2nd bedroom is on the ground floor while the master is upstairs, which wasn't ideal with the little one, but we made it work. It was really nice having a high chair and pack'n'play in the home and not having to rent them. The Copper Leaf neighborhood is a nice area with parks and good sidewalks for running/walking with the stroller, and the pool is right at the end of the drive. Thank you!
