Wonderful, first-class property in a quiet neighborhood. Hosts are very responsive and welcoming. Love the North Scottsdale area - with many great hiking trails nearby. Would definitely rent again.

The casita is very comfortable and fully stocked, and the back yard is absolutely amazing. Our dogs loved having a big yard to explore. Unfortunately the weather wasn´t really conducive to sitting by the pool. Location is excellent as well - quiet neighborhood yet close to all amenities. And only 2.5 miles to Brown´s Ranch if you´re into mountain biking/trail running. Colleen and Brian are gracious hosts - very accommodating.

We stayed eight nights. They accommodated us an extra night that we didn't plan on. Bryan and Colleen were so nice and the perfect hosts. Our dog Toby Tyler loved it there so much he made a second home at their residence. He loved their dog Bella. It was so nice having a secure yard where Toby could run off steam after being cooped up in a car and hotels for a week. The Casita was just lovely and brought the Arizona lifestyle into the house. We have stayed at other VRBOs but this by far was the best! We will stay again the next time we are in Phoenix!

My wife and I come to AZ once a year. Always nice to find a place to stay that is peaceful and relaxing. Just what we found with the casita that Bryan and Colleen have provided. Everything needed for a home away from home. WiFi was ok but seemed to drop in and out. Our host were readily available to help with any needs if necessary. Had a very pleasant stay and would stay again if not booked when we decide to come next year.

This place had a bug issue during my stay. On the second day here I found a huge camel spider in the bedroom. I sent Bryan a picture and he came over right away. He said that because of the "unusual" monsoon season they were having this year, everyone in the area was having the same issue. Ok. Two days later, there was a giant cockroach in the shower. I also sent Bryan a picture and he came to the apartment the next morning to put a cover on the shower drain. Not okay. A week later, I found a scorpion in the bedroom. Again, I sent Bryan a picture of it. At this point, and for my own safety, I started inspecting the whole apartment before going to sleep every night. I told Bryan I was leaving the apartment, but he said there were no guarantees I would get my money back, so I stayed. Now I'm scared. A few days later, there was another huge cockroach in the kitchen. I sent Bryan a picture of it and he came to the apartment the next morning to put 6 glue traps around the apartment. Now I feel safe... Bryan called pest control after this incident, and other than a small spider crawling on the wall above my head in the bedroom, there were no other issues for a whole month. The day before I checked out I found a 4 inch centipede in the kitchen. I was freaking out! Again, I sent Bryan a picture and recommended calling pest control again. I didn't hear back from him until I was out of the apartment. I was at work when he texted me to see if I could come over to point out to him the exact location where I found the centipede. It was very nice of me to leave work and go back to his house to show him the location and all he wanted to do was to argue with me for complaining about the bugs. I was furious and left right away. In his defense, Bryan put wire mesh on every air return vent to prevent bugs from entering the apartment. He did something outside as well, but I just don't remember what. He really did a lot to make sure I was comfortable at his place. If you don't like bugs I'm going to say to you what Bryan said to me when I mentioned there was a scorpion in the bedroom "Maybe Arizona is not for you". Bryan, you have the last word.

Bryan and Colleen have created a perfect getaway and respite! This was our second stay since 2017. Bryan and Colleen have thought of and supplied everthing needed for our stay. Bryan also prepared extra seating arrangements next to the pool to accomodate a dessert event we hosted while staying at their casita.Both bed and sleeper sofa were very comfortable. We so enjoyed the cool October AZ day and nights on the patio. The casita is within less than a mile to yummy restaurants, stores and services, too.We'll be back next spring and fall for sure!

Brian and Colleen have done a beautiful job with their property. The casita was just perfect for us. The pride of ownership shows throughout their property.

We absolutely loved our staycation. It was a beautiful house on a gorgeous property. The wifi was quick for my work needs (staycation was goal, but didn't happen lol). The house was equipped with toiletries and the fridge was packed with ice cold water. The home owners were so incredibly kind and welcoming. The casita is a dream place very cozy and I really did not want to go out but had very few days to visit so many places in Arizona. It was super clean and had all the amenities, you only have to bring the food to cook. I loved the surroundings and the sky view was excellent because I was able to take pictures of nature. Bryan emailed me the instructions to get to the house and everything was perfect! We brought our small malatese and she was very comfortable there. This was so much better than a noisy hotel. We could relax in the evening either in the pool, spa or on the roof top lookout. Grocery, restaurants and shopping nearby!

We were very pleased with out stay here , everything was at our fingertips , very clean , great living space ( we could live in a place like this ) pool & a beautiful view. Also the fact that Colleen & Bryan are here if you need anything , thank you 2 for everything. Sincerely Donne & Roger Coon

There are not enough words to describe our wonderful stay at this charming, super clean and impeccably decorated casita! As a long time Home Away renter, I have to say this adorable cottage is a 5 Star delight that I cannot rave enough about! Colleen and Bryan were the most welcoming and warm hosts and they made sure we had a perfect, relaxing stay, thank you to them so much! This is the perfect place for two people and the setting is just beautiful! We felt like we had our own private piece of desert paradise to enjoy, right in the middle of such a beautifully landscaped and quiet neighborhood! Watching the quail, hummingbirds and lizards from our picture perfect patio was a daily delight! If you want a cozy, very quiet and peaceful oasis in the desert for your stay, this is the place! We will be back!

My family and I spent 3 nights at Bryan and Colleen guest house. Very clean and well decorated. Everything you need is already there for your use . The owners are very nice and friendly. I highly recommend this property to anyone that wants to have a relaxing time in beautiful North Scottsdale.

Stayed at Colleen and Bryan's casita just like home away from home. Unlike stayed at hotels, resorts, no more doors slamming , stomping along the hallways. Only noises you hear are wildlife outside of the casita. There are many outdoors activities near the casita, my favorite is trial running at McDowells Sonoran Preserve and Pinnacle peak. Cave Creek is only 30 minutes away, my favorite running trail is " Go John " 6 miles loop. Running, walking and cycling near casita, no traffic zipping by, except rattlesnakes " just kidding " There are many restaurants, coffee shops,and speciality shops near by. Or doing nothing, just sit outside under the veranda to bird watching. Stayed at Colleen and Bryan's casita just like with family. Thank you for an peaceful stay, definitely will be back ! Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Bryan and Colleen were exceptional hosts. The Casita was better than we expected and their location couldn't have been better. I actually wish we could keep this place a secret so that we would have it all to our own when we come back to Scottsdale.

This was the best place to stay.... Owners super nice and the guest house is stock with all your needs. Love the property.... we will stay here again.

Located in a great area of N Scottsdale. We were there two months. Landlords were friendly and accommodating - very easy to work with and comfortable to be around. Would definitely stay again.

This casita is a perfect alternative to a noisy hotel for the business traveler. I stayed 3 nights at this property and enjoyed the quiet, the privacy and the little touches that Bryan and Colleen have done to make this casita feel like home away from home! I intend to make this my new home base when I'm in Scottsdale on business.

I stayed in this casita for 38 days and loved every minute of my vacation. Perfect in size, beautiful interior, wonderful outdoor space, spacious pool and spa-what more could anyone want or need. Brian & Colleen were the most generous hosts even keeping an eye on my 2 pugs while I stepped out to see the sights. I would highly recommend this beautiful casita and wonderful hosts for your next vacation.
