5.0   -   A great find in the middle of Tucson
Reviewed on Apr 30, 2019
What a great place! Quiet, comfortable, with lots of space both indoors and outdoors - Dana really has thought of everything to make staying here easy and relaxing. Good for a family, as bedrooms are on different ends of the house, and it has 2 bathrooms. We hope to stay here again next time we're in Tucson!

A great base for a delightful stay in Tucson. The location was ideal for us to reach out and see everything we wanted to while we were here. An ample and comfortable space, it was a nice place the linger in the mornings and catch our breath in the evenings. Every corner, both inside and out, has something to offer. Everything you might need is here. Dana has thought of it all, and is helpfully communicative with everything else. I hope our travels take us back here again.

Mabel house is a great home . It has everything that you need. We stayed for 10 days. We found that it was a snort walk to the trolley, to the campus and the museums. Lots of great outside space to relax in. Dana was a wonderful host. Definitely would stay here again and recommend it to all.

Loved the historic feel of the house and appreciated having all the necessities covered. Dana is a lovely host who is eager to make sure you have a good stay. Especially liked all the brochures which gave us ideas of things to do. Thankful for the water bottles as we forgot ours.

5.0   -   Great spot to stay in Tucson

The house is in a great location, just a few blocks away from Fourth Ave, and an easy walk. The interior of the house looks much smaller from the outside, but there are almost two separate living areas with a kitchen and dining area in between. Nice to have the separate areas after a long day of site seeing. And that doesn't even begin to describe all the outdoor spaces. We never got to use them all during a three day stay. Dana is great to work with. Super responsive although we did not have many questions for her since she had thought of just about everything. I'll definitely stay here again when in Tucson.

5.0   -   Fine place to Stay

Very comfortable house , good location and helpful owner. The house was great for 4 of us, and since we had several relatives in Tucson it turned out to be a great place to have family dinners. Seating inside and outside in the patio were more than adequate for 9 or 10 of us at a time. Very pleasant stay

5.0   -   Perfect location and comfortable retreat
Reviewed on Mar 04, 2019
This location, just off Speedway, near Downtown, the University and freeway access, was perfect for our first-time visit to Tucson. With separate areas for both of us couples, we had just enough privacy after a long day together. The kitchen and dining room were spacious and comfortable for our gathering times. The outdoor sitting areas in the back and on the front porch called to us every evening for wine and cheese. All the little extras in decorating and amendments made us feel very welcome. Dana was always immediately accessible and helpful with our questions.

Spacious and charming, close to University. Great collection of U of A memorabilia. Loved the original details of the house and there was certainly enough room to spread out and enjoy the weekend. Would definitely stay again and hopefully next time we will get good weather to allow us to enjoy the outdoor spaces too. Dana was a pleasure to talk too and she offered some great personal touches to the home. Thanks again!

Dana was very accommodating and kind. Quick to answer all correspondence and help out. The property is close to 4th Avenue which has great little restaurants and a cool vibe. Roomy home with a nice room for watching TV and hanging out. Bedrooms are at opposite ends of the house so it feels like two separate homes inside.
