  • Nice winter break

    4 of 5

wonderful owners, very nice place....well stocked & very clean Catalina Foothills experience pretty much as advertised, but somewhat diminished by traffic noise close by......not quite as private as expected

  • Spectacular studio in scenic Tucson.

    5 of 5

This studio is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It is set in a scenic area of north Tucson, with a gorgeous view of the mountains. The hosts were very friendly, and were available if a need arose. An absolutely perfect stay!

  • Superb hospitality

    5 of 5

We were warmly welcomed by our hosts when we arrived for a week stay. The accommodations were just as the photos depicted and narrative described. Close to Sabino Canyon and Catalina State Park as well as supermarkets, restaurants, etc. Nice safe, secure and quiet neighborhood. Phil and Leeann were very helpful and accommodating while at same time allowing plenty of privacy and solitude.

  • Felt like home!

    5 of 5

Phil and LeeAnn are wonderful hosts with a beautiful place. It felt like home the minute we got there! I can't wait to go back and hike some more trails.

  • comfortable, quiet suite in great area

    5 of 5

We enjoyed staying in the suite with a private entrance. We enjoyed the tranquility and the views. We took walks on the paved road each morning and appreciated easy access to the north west part of the city. A/C was very good and appliances were in good working order. Hosts were friendly but gave us our privacy. Would certainly go back and recommend highly.

  • Convenient and Comfy

    4 of 5

While we communicated by email, the owner and I never connected (met) personally. Unfortunately, my days were filled till early evening and it just didn't happen. That didn't dampen the accommodations. Pictures are accurate, nice neighborhood for late-night walking which I did. The inside has ample sitting area, and a nice breakfast bar with utensils. I normally travel with breakfast munchies, so having the toaster was great, and the Keurig of course. The location was perfect for where I spent my daytime hours. Recommended!

We loved our stay in Phil & Leigh Ann's Catalina Foothills suite! The suite was charmingly decorated and very comfortable. Phil & Leigh Ann were extremely accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed as we settled in for our stay. The view from our window was stunning! We definitely will return someday and will highly recommend to others wanting to visit the picturesque Tucson Catalina Foothills area. Thanks so much! Ross & Karen (Chicago)

  • A good, quiet location.

    4 of 5

It is close to many restaurants, grocery stores, and the Catalina Mountains. The cable tv channel selection needs to include more channels including ESPN.

  • A comfortable and delightful place to stay.

    5 of 5

We very much enjoyed our stay at the spacious and comfortable Foothills Suite. The room was charmingly decorated and had wonderful windows along the front. Coming from a rural we were happy to find the neighborhood friendly and quiet, we never walked or drove down the street that some one didn’t wave or greet us with a smile. We also appreciated that, while we felt secluded, we were only a couple of blocks from a grocery store and a couple of very nice eating places and just a short drive to the Foothill Mall. Phil and Leigh Ann were welcoming and helpful hosts, showing us where everything was inside and outside. We really appreciated their invitation to make use of the back yard and fruit trees. We had hoped to do more of that and of using the lovely front patio area. Unfortunately the unusual weather while we were there did interfere with much sitting outside. We did manage to spend time on the front patio area when we came home from visiting San Xavier Mission. We made good use of the kitchenette for breakfast and light dinners before and after long days of sightseeing. While we were only there a few days, we enjoyed visiting the Arizona-Senora Desert Museum, Saguaro National Park and the Tucson Zoo. We would definitely recommend this as a cozy, comfortable place stay.

  • Stay at Suite in Tucson foothills

    4 of 5

Nice, comfortable, pleasant setting, very private. Phil and Leigh Ann have a lovely suite attached to their home in the Tucson Foothills. Very pleasant, private space. Very comfortable bed, great water pressure in shower, wonderfully yummy plush towels. And nice bonus of a kitchenette. Great retreat after spending the day at the dusty hot pursuit of stones and minerals at the Tucson Gem & Mineral Show.
