  • Very relaxing. Everything we needed.

    5 of 5

This townhouse was in an excellent location. (actually a single level, but technically a townhouse I suppose. Nobody above or below). End unit. Lots of trees and greenery visible from the living areas. Really didn't feel in a were in a rush to leave for daily activities and looked forward to getting back at the end of the day. Very clean and well maintained. Took Uber on a couple trips into town when drinking was likely, drove other times. 10-15 minutes from downtown campus. Golf course across the street. Parking was easy and close. Next time we are in town, will definitely try to stay here again.

  • Pride of Ownership Throughout!

    5 of 5

This townhouse was the perfect setting for our Thanksgiving celebration. Our goals for this stay were to find a nice home with a well appointed kitchen in order to provide a home cooked Thanksgiving dinner for our NAU student who had to work over the weekend. This townhouse is conveniently located, comfortable and clean, clean, clean. The kitchen was very easy to work in, the dining area was super and having a fire going in the fireplace made for a cozy setting. The owner's concern for our comfort was evident from the beginning with his quick response to our inquiries, his welcome note & goodies in the house, and quick phone call to make sure we didn't have any questions. We were made to feel like treasured guest instead of merely paying customers. Thanks for a great stay!

  • Great!

    5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay. This house was comfortable, clean, well stocked with little essentials. Two bedrooms with two baths pleased the guest we brought with us. Tim and Cheryl had left welcoming coffee and cookies, a very nice touch. We would definitely use this place again, going on my contacts list!

  • Just about perfect

    5 of 5

Our family of 5 spent 6 days in August and we're extremely happy with our stay. Tim was very communicative, helpful and friendly before and during our stay. We arrived to find cold bottled water waiting for us, and even a bag of Twizzlers for the kids. The kitchen was well stocked with non-stick pans, pots, collanders and every utensil we could need. The entire place was very clean and we were happy with the furniture. I would have liked to have brought the living room's black chair back with me. The only minus was that there was no air conditioning, but I would counter that by saying we were there during the absolute hottest time of the year, are acclimated to North Dakota temps, and still were comfortable in the evening, so don't let that deter you. The country club's restaurant, lap pool, tennis courts, golf clubhouse, and pickleball courts are literally right across the street. The Bear Paw Club, geared toward kids with mini golf, movie room, billiards, game/puzzle room, ice cream, and pool are located about 3 min away by car. For $30/week for adults, $15/week for kids you get unlimited access to most everything. Tennis ball machine rental was $15/hour, which is crazy cheap. The club personnel and patrons were all very friendly. Having said that, we were gone all day every day but one, and found every trip worthwhile. GC (bike tour, walked into Canyon); Walnut Canyon; Page (Antelope Canyon, Glen Canyon Dam, Lake Powell Beach); Flagstaff Extreme (obstacle course in trees, level 5 just about killed the 45+ year old parents, but loved by the kids). There are so many things to do, we could easily visit Flagstaff again next year and not duplicate anything. We would enthusiastically recommend this stay for anyone.

We enjoyed a getaway from the Phoenix Valley heat and the accommodations of the nearby Continental Club, however we have mixed emotions about the facilities. Every VRBO has pluses and minuses depending on expectations and the home you came from. When we travel, we like to have accommodations like home or a little better, after all it is a vacation. So on the plus side the cool weather was nice until late in the day when temperatures reached the high eighties. The unit was clean and easy to access. The Owner contacts were friendly and helpful. The location next to the Continental Club was nice, we used the golf course, the pool, and the Oakmont dining room. On the minus side the facility did not have air conditioning, the television lacked the usual channels that we enjoy, and the furniture was less than acceptable. So, on balance, we would caution this VRBO for someone that desires modern accommodations. If you are into futon couches, vinyl recliners, and retro game show TV channels then this VRBO is for you.

  • Felt like HOME!

    5 of 5

We used Flagstaff as a jumping off point for all the things we wanted to do while in AZ. This property was conveniently located within about 1 hour of everything we wanted to do. The owners were OUTSTANDING and truly made this process the BEST. The hospitality they showed upon our arrival is something you don't often experience with these rentals, and definitely was appreciated. The property itself was beautiful! It was like home away from home! We LOVED sitting on the front porch in the mornings and evenings enjoying the wonderful Flagstaff weather (a welcome change from the 107 degrees we endured in Vegas the week before). As someone who is hot ALL the time, I was worried about the lack of Air Conditioning in the house, but it wasn't a problem at all. We just followed the instructions the owners gave about when to open and close the windows, and found it to be pleasant all the time, even with temperatures up to the 90's midday. The suggestions the owners gave in their welcome book were a GREAT touch and led us to some places we never would have otherwise discovered. And, the pool, restaurant and fitness center were convenient and relaxing ways to spend our downtime! Thank you for everything!

  • Our best vacation ever.

    5 of 5

The owner was incredibly helpful and responsive with any questions we had. And also so welcoming with a note and a treat for the kids (and coffee!). The house was great for our family of 4 and Flagstaff is the perfect place as a home base for an Arizona vacation--easy access to Grand Canyon, Sedona and Page (Antelope Canyon), with other national parks minutes away (Walnut Canyon, Sunset Crater...which are all free with a 4th grader's National Park pass!). Flagstaff itself is a fantastic place to visit with great restaurants, breweries, Lowell observatory, art, etc. There was a pool across the street from this house and mini-golf nearby. The location was clean with everything we needed in the kitchen and the nights were perfect for sitting on the porch and relaxing after very full and active days-- with a view of the (in the words of my 6th grader) "majestic mountain". There was lovely art throughout the home, too. The only suggestion I would have for the house would be to add a washer/dryer, but there is a laundromat just a mile away. We had an extended vacation with almost a week in this house, a few days in Sedona and a few in Phoenix. In retrospect, we wish we would have scheduled the entire time in this house instead. We would definitely recommend this location!

We were so comfortable in this house! It doesn't have air-conditioning or laundry facilities but they weren't really needed for a short stay. We would definitely stay there again!

  • Perfect place for two couples

    5 of 5

When I first started looking, I wanted to be close to family in the area. Since I didn't know where this unit was located, I asked Tim to let me know how close it was to the address I provided. His response was immediate and it was the perfect location for us. The unit was very clean and well stocked...including the coffee he left for us. We had a minor problem the first morning and Tim took care of it immediately. Thank you for being so attentive. I would definitely consider renting again if/when I get back to the area. 1 couple from Florida & 1 couple from California

  • Convenient, Well Kept, and Cozy Place to stay!

    5 of 5

The listing description was extremely accurate in regards to the location and layout of the property. The directions were detailed and easy to follow. All amenities were in excellent condition and new. The property was very clean and very well maintained. The owners were very helpful and easily available throughout our stay. The location was very close to multiple areas of Flagstaff, making it relaxing and stress free when deciding where and when to go to places such as Northern Arizona University and the Grand Canyon. I would recommend this location to any parents who are visiting their student at NAU or any other college within the area. The complementary coffee and tea were also a nice and welcoming touch! We enjoyed our time and would highly recommend!
