  • Cozy Get Away

    5 of 5

Great location: out in the woods providing solace and serenity, but also incredibly close to downtown and amenities. Often I would walk to Frys for groceries and grab a Starbucks. The bed is incredibly comfortable; slept so well in the cabin. Hot water does not last much longer than 2-3 minutes in the shower. Gerry was such a great host-super quick with communication back and forth and if I ever had any questions, concerns things were taken care of immediately. There is internet, BUT you can not stream anything so no Netflix, hulu unless you have unlimited data and watch on your phone :) . I wasn't able to use my computer and do any work/research from home while there. They do have cable and a radio in the cabin. I stayed in the cabin for a month and I wish I could have stayed longer-really enjoyed my time there! Gave me some much needed peace and rest.

  • Cozy,comfy and perfectly located !

    4 of 5

My husband, our poodle Lily ,Maltese cross Madigan & I spent the month of December 2017 at this wonderful cottage. Gerry met us and immediately helped us feel at home. She even had a little Christmas tree and other tasteful decorations to make it feel more homey . The online overview says it all and we had everything we needed to settle in . Lots of trails for hiking and biking within a short drive and wonderful walks within the neighbourhood itself. Walked to historic downtown several times, only 30 min. Great place to be over Christmas! This was our first trip to Prescott- friendly people, loved it and hope to return again soon ! Thanks very much to our hosts Gerry & Kurt. Kelly & Peter

  • Sweet Little Cabin

    5 of 5

This cabin is lovingly decorated and very clean! We had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Gerry and Curt were so helpful. The cabin is in a quiet neighborhood and we felt like we had plenty of privacy. Bed is comfy. The price was especially good compared to other vacation rentals in the area if you choose to stay a full week. The "rustic-ness" and the historical aspect of the cabin was a fun experience as well. It's only a few minutes away from downtown Prescott and groceries. Would stay here again. -- Johnson's -- North Pole, Alaska

  • Quiet and quaint

    4 of 5

This cabin has everything you need. Very private in the pines of Prescott. Close to town but far enough out to be quiet. Restful. Deck with BBQ. Friendly and helpful hosts. Bed could be too firm for some who like soft bed. Enjoyed our stay!

Truly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was the first time to AZ for either of us and didn't know what to expect. This was a great location to see lot of different areas from one main spot. The owners were very helpful in getting our laptop up and running for us. Eager to answer questions and provided lots of info on area attractions. Seen lots of area wildlife such as javelinas, mule deer, antelope and elk. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family and would stay there again ourselves.

  • Absolutely Perfect In Every Way!

    5 of 5

We were so pleased to stay in your wonderful cabin in the pines for our long-term stay while we re-located to Prescott from Maine! Since we arrived with just our clothes, it was so nice to absolutely everything we could possibly need, provided in the cabin. Very clean and cozy. Having the owners right next door was really nice. They always made sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved walking around the neighborhood, meeting nice people and down to the park right at the end of the street. We spent our first Christmas in Prescott and really loved going downtown for the celebration, light parade that the whole community participates in and the Courthouse Square lights are beautiful! Our favorite stop downtown is for coffee or a yummy frozen yogurt sundae at "Frozen Frannies". We loved shopping in the antique shops and there are many. The many hiking trails were so much fun. There are so many and each one we hiked we loved even more that the one before! We just can't say enough wonderful things about the cabin, the owners and our wonderful experience in re-locating to Arizona. We love it and thank you both for making it a most pleasurable one!!!

  • Cozy Cabin

    4 of 5

The two of us stayed 3 nights over Veterans Day weekend. Cabin is exactly as shown and includes everything you would need. The owner lives next door and was very helpful. You get a nice feeling of being in the woods with the trees but it's still very close trip to town. Would definitely visit again.

  • Cute little cabin in the woods

    4 of 5

If you like simple and homey you will like this little cabin. It's very simple but cute... It feels like your staying at Grandma's other house:) The little kitchen was my favorite! a few things noted but NOT complaints, I think for privacy it would be nice to have a full curtain option in the bathroom and kitchen, a thicker extra blanket for the bed (we did not get cold but I think it would have been nice) and there were quite a few cobwebs/spiders...could use some dusting off outside. Thanks for a nice relaxing weekend... Prescott is great!!

  • August Respite in the Pines

    5 of 5

My husband and I rented this charming cabin to get away from the Aug. heat in Phoenix. It was exacty as pictured and very comfortable. The kitchen is small, handy and well provisioned. My favorite area was the sleep porch turned into a dining area. I loved all the windows. There is a nice little park at the end of the block and lots of fun walking to do around the neighborhood. The Mountain Club is a unique community. The downtown area is close by so it is quite convenient to the activities on the square. We loved hiking Lynx Lake, the German restaurant at the lake, and Cuppers...a good coffee and casual breakfast/lunch spot a block off the square. Firehouse SQ has a good bakery, fun shops and some good restaurants including a lobster roll place that is pretty authentic! Prescott truly is everyone's hometown. We enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Gerry!

  • Great Retreat

    5 of 5

We can't express how much we enjoyed our stay at the little cabin in the woods. It was so peaceful and we enjoyed eating out on the patio. Everything was clean and the decor was very warm and inviting. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are planning on coming back for even a longer time. The hosts were great and helped us with the questions that we asked. The walks in the woods and the town square just add to the wonderful time that can be had. Thank you.
