Tiny house A-Frame on 1.5 acres in the Coconino National Forest. Featured in American Eagle Outfitters worldwide holiday campaign. 10 min to historic downtown and Route 66. 15 min to Walnut Canyon, Sunset Crater, Wupatki National Parks, NAU, and Casino. 45 min to Meteor Crater, Oak Creek, and Sedona. 90 min to Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, and Petrified Forest. 2.5 hrs to Monument Valley. We also have a Tiny Mountain View Cabin with a full sofa bed, two twin airbeds, full kitchen, and bathroom next door that is available if you need more space for an additional $79 a night and cleaning fee.

The Space:

The property borders Coconino National Forest on two sides. We have been restoring our cabin using only recycled sustainable building materials and biobased coatings. The cabin is RUSTIC and SMALL at 755 square feet but very open and functional with incredible views of the forest and the mountains from all rooms and 3 decks.

Guest Access:

Exclusive use of the A-Frame cabin. Outside - 2 mountain bikes, BBQ grill, and horseshoes pitch and stairway access through the National Forest boundary. Inside - 1 full size memory foam bed in the bedroom, 2 single/twin pull out Ikea chair beds and double high self inflating/deflating airbeds in the loft , 1 full/double airbed, and 1 folding cot. Backpack, flashlight, lantern, cooler, and firewood. Condiments and spices are stocked. Help yourself to anything in the refrigerator and freezer.

Interaction with Guests:

Your privacy at our cabin is important to us. Available always by cell phone, text or email. Key lock box on property.

Getting around:

A car is advisable. UBER available, use code uberaframeflagstaff for your first ride free ($20 credit). . Shuttle service to Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport /Amtrak Rail Station available. 3.5 miles from Flagstaff Bus Route 66 Mountain Line. Sky Harbor Airport Phoenix is 2 hours, 15 minutes to Flagstaff Pulliam Airport, 10 minutes to rail station. Ample parking and hookups for RV or trailer.

Other Things to Note:

No telephone, no air conditioning, no cable/satellite TV, and no Internet. The cabin does have cellular and 4G LTE data reception, 32' LED HDTV, Blu-ray DVD player, Xbox 360, FM/Bluetooth alarm clock stereo radio, board games, books, and local travel guides. We use a professional cleaning service to prepare the cabin prior to your arrival.

Cabin Rules:

House trained dogs are welcome but not on beds or furniture. Due to severe allergies - no cats. Please do not leave your pets unattended in the cabin. There is a strict dog barking ordinance. Please pickup after your dogs outside and deposit in the outside trash container. Staircase does not have a safety railing, see photos. Please make sure people, children and dogs are supervised and very careful on it. The cabin is located within a National Park so wildlife is abundant particularly Elk, Coyotes, Jackrabbits, etc. Please leash your dog at all times when outside. The neighborhood is very quiet so please enter and exit the area respectfully and try to keep dust down while driving. Quiet time between 9pm and 7am and to keep the peace with our neighbors and maintain the tranquil environment no loud music, parties or events. No smoking indoors. If smoking outdoors please discard in sealed container only. Since this cabin is completely surrounded by the national forest the following is in effect: No BBQ use from April to September. Campfires and fireworks are prohibited year round. October through March also observe these rules during Red Flag Warnings (signs posted on the main roads) Finally, it is very important to review the driving directions and the cabin manual prior to arriving and if there are questions and concerns to contact me prior to your date of arrival.
