  • A gem!

    5 of 5

We rented the Casa to attend the graduation of our daughter from the U. Not only was it close to campus and an easy walk downtown and to 4th Street, but it was also a great base to use for travel further afield. We loved the back yard and even in the May heat we used it for breakfast and dinner. We hope to return to Tucson and this will be the first place we search out for accomodations.

  • Charming, lovely home in Tucson close to University

    5 of 5

This house was just delightful for a stay in Tucson while attending a conference at the University. The house is tastefully furnished and decorated. Everything was very comfortable. We enjoyed meeting Mary the owner and hearing more about all the great places withing easy walking distance--restaurants and a terrific independent bookstore, Antigone. The neighborhood was great for walking--interesting older homes that are mostly unique.

  • 😄Casa Jacobus

    5 of 5

CJ is centrally located, very comfortable, and cute. Mary has covered every detail of what a traveler would need or could possibly want -PLUS!! Even though we didn't have the pleasure of meeting her, she was in contact and always responded immediately. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

  • Relocation to Tucson

    5 of 5

Having accepted a job in the Tucson, AZ area I was lucky enough to locate Casa de Jacobus. Its excellent location near the University of Arizona, useful amenities such as kitchen and WIFI, and beauty made it a great place to get started in Tucson. Casa de Jacobus is a great place for anyone who is traveling to Tucson for business or for recreation.

  • I was very pleased with both the house and its location.

    5 of 5

Mary does a great job in her description of the property. I booked the house for a three week stay. Upon arrival I found the house was appointed with all the necessary items one would need for a short or extended stay. Mary, the owner, is verry approachable and quick to respond to any questions you may have. I would not hesitate to book another stay the next time I am in Tucson.

  • Great place to stay

    5 of 5

We really enjoyed our long weekend in Tucson staying at the Casa de Jocobus. A cute 1920s bungalow very well decorated with everything you need. The owner Mary is a pleasure to work with. We loved that we were about 5 blocks off the bike path!

  • Nice House with a "Laid-back" Feeling

    5 of 5

We enjoyed this casa in a residential neighborhood near the University of Arizona. Mary has equipped the house with everything you would need, plus some thoughtful extras. She was very easy to work with. This property didn't feel contrived, instead it felt like we were borrowing a cottage from a cousin or aunt. It had a comfortable lived-in feeling that made it easy to feel at home. There are many good restaurants within less than a mile and, since the casa is in town, you avoid being assaulted by the endless shopping centers that have taken over the surrounding areas. A lot of trains roll through Tucson. If you are a light sleeper, that may be a problem and you might need to head for a condo in the hills instead (where, alas, you can't avoid seeing the shopping centers).

  • Excellent house and location!

We enjoyed our three night stay while on vacation in Tucson. The house was even more charming and spacious than we had anticipated. Great location close the university, 4th, and easy walking distance to downtown.

  • Comfortable and private

    5 of 5

We stayed here for son's U of A graduation. Perfect. It's hot but we could walk to campus and to 4th for snacks and breakfast. The private driveway is so nice. The bed is very comfy and the patio would be great in cooler weathers living room comfy to catch up with son. Kitchen has all you need. We'd love to come back for longer in winter to hike etc.

  • A leisurly time in our Tucson retreat!

    5 of 5

In going to Tucson, our purpose was to see friends, a challenging play at out favorite venue, and, for the first time, add no additional commitments. This charming bungalow from 1920 provide us with a retreat and all the necessities in a little neighborhood hidden away just a few blocks from the U. of Arizona. The Southwestern touches were not overpowering, nor cutesy-touristy, but perfect. We felt comfortable at all times, had everything at our fingertips if we wanted to walk just a few blocks to 4th Ave. to boutique shops, funky dining, and colorful artists studios. We will now call this our home-away-from home and plan to return a few times each year!
