  • Cute but very basic and confining. No amenities.

    3 of 5

The place is very cute and very quiet because it’s in a residential neighborhood which was great. Also very close to uptown Sedona and junction to 79A. The room was very small and felt claustrophobic at times. There is no TV and I thought there was a coffee pot but it’s really just a hot water kettle for making tea or oatmeal. Although they provide a table and chair it’s sort of awkward to try to eat in your room. There is a nice little sitting area outside but I never used it because I was always out during the day And at night there really isn’t enough light out there and it gets chilly. The room is a little dark as well and I was wishing there was better lighting for reading or just even doing things in the room. Also sharing a bathroom really didn’t work for me especially when you don’t know the other person and you have to arrange your schedules accordingly. But the place is neat and clean and I think for the right person who just wants a place to sleep it is fine. But If you were looking to come back and relax in your room it really isn’t conducive to that as it’s just too small and confining.

  • comfortable room in a great location

    5 of 5

I stayed for one week at this location. It was a perfect location for me, because I did not have a car and wanted to hike. It was walking distance from the Andante Hotel in West Sedona where the Arizona Shuttle drops off and picks up passengers to go to Phoenix airport . It is also centrally located near hiking trails for Carroll Canyon and airport mesa area. Walking a little further you could also hike to Chimney rock trails and the Stupa or take an uber/Lyft or Verde Lynx bus service to Girdner trails or Soldiers Pass. For non hiking entertainment the Oak creek brewery is close along with the movie theaters, especially if you are coming in for the Film Festival and restaurants such as Thai spices or Picasso, coffee Pot or Café Jose, The supermarkets are all very close also. I mainly went to hike and enjoy the scenery. Breanna rented a comfortable bed with a handy refrigerator and shared bathroom with one other room. It was all very clean and comfortable with a big closet. Breanna was helpful by providing a weight scale which I could not pack. It was a great help for me because of one medication that I must take. The refrigerator was amble size for one person and clean. The room was quiet with a separate outside entrance and your own key. It was also great to see the emphasis on recycling which I appreciate. The house is on a quiet street and one neighbor was helpful in suggesting some trails. The week was very enjoyable for me with lots of easily accessible trails, restaurants, supermarkets and entertainment within walking distance. If you have the same or similar needs then I highly recommend this property.
