Had planned this trip to enjoy backyard patio. Was grossed out by condition of grill and patio area. The kitchen definitely needs upgraded kitchen utensils and pans. A coffee pot would be nice. My guests were all vets so were able to make do. Bedrooms were fine. Beautiful piano.

We had four golfers stay at the location for 5 nights. Everything was clean and all essentials (cooking, A/C, bathroom and TV/cable) worked to our satisfaction. It was a quiet neighborhood that had easy access to the 101 freeway and local shopping and restaurant options. Moreover, it was a great value for us.

This home was exactly what we were looking to book for my parents' fiftieth anniversary celebration. We asked my folks if they wanted to go on a cruise or an all inclusive vacation, but they said they would prefer to have us all in one place together and just relax. When asked about a fancy formal dinning experience for their anniversary, they said they would rather have the "boys" make it at home. After some discussions with my two sisters, we booked John and Susie's home in Glendale AZ for 8 days in March 2018. The master bedroom was special and my parents really enjoyed it. The other bedrooms were spacious and had comfortable beds. The kitchen had most everything you could want to turn out a variety of meals including a seven course dinner we prepared to celebrate the 50th anniversary. This was the one time we used the formal dinning room, otherwise we ate at the spacious kitchen table. We also used the built in grill to prepare several meals and a couple of courses for the seven course dinner. The grill was great and was one of the natural gathering spots for us. The house had lots of room and we sat and visited in all the common spaces at different times. We also spent lots of time in the backyard. It was a great place to soak up the sun or sit in the shade. We felt at home the moment we walked through the door and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Glendale. I should also say that the neighborhood is quiet and well maintained and the house has easy access to the 101 freeway which gives easy access to everywhere in the greater Phoenix area. We had a day out in Sedona for lunch and hiking at Red Rocks Park. We went to three different Spring training games at Goodyear, Glendale and Surprise. Access was easy to all of these and Peoria is closer and even easier to access than the ones we went to. My dad and brother in law went hiking on some trails that were less than 10 minutes away. My wife, sister and mother had lots of shopping opportunities. None of us golfed on this trip but there were lots of courses to choose from. This spacious well appointed home was great for our group of 7. It would have been equally great for our planned group of 9. John, the owner and Greg, the property manager were accommodating and very responsive. We could not have asked for a better experience.

We stayed for a week on a visit from overseas and were very happy with the house. It is very much a family home with character and a welcoming ambience. We felt 'at home' within an hour or two. The range of facilities available was impressive. The home's proximity to Arrowhead Mall was a real bonus and we found its location very convenient for our travelling needs. A special mention of the property manager has to be made. His prompt attention to any issues we had (they were minor) was much appreciated.

Great house and beautiful nice and comforting area to stay. Everything needed was provided and I'd come back again
