  • So quite and serene- beautiful!

    5 of 5

We were looking for solitude and and we got it in spades! Saw deer from the deck the first afternoon. The temperatures for the whole time were perfect, and being from northern CA where we don’t get rain for 2-3 months, we got to enjoy the last 3 days of slow rain.... soooo nice! We were scoping the area out for a possible retirement spot and we were not disappointed! We loved the feeling of pride of the people and the patriotism that was visible everywhere! Was there anything we didn’t like about where we stayed and the whole area???? NOPE!!! Loved the host, Logan, and her beautiful get-a-way Marfa Mansion. P.S.... if you are 6’7” tall, expect to be a little cramped in the shower! We managed to adapt and so will you if you stay at Logan’s Marfa Mansion! Thank you, Logan❤️

My husband and I just returned from spending a month at the Marfa Mansion. It was everything we wanted. A quiet place with an amazing view that is close to biking and hiking trails. Very comfortable and very affordable.

  • Peaceful, beautiful, great location

    5 of 5

Perfect! Everything was as described in the listing and then some! Gorgeous views, quiet. A place to relax and renew oneself. Logan was the perfect host - friendly and responsive. My arrival time changed twice but that didn't phase her. She met me down the road, I followed her up to the house and she showed me around. I never got around to watching TV but can tell you the internet worked great. Cell service spotty for calling out but I received calls on my mobile. There is a landline to call out which is very nice but you will just want to "be" while you're there anyway. I loved sitting on the deck and watching the hummingbirds. They even sat on the little wire fence around the deck. Perfectly sized deck w/comfortable furniture. It went around back to the firepit and infrared sauna which I used. Wonderful. The view is really something day or night. There are lights set up which are nice at night if you like, but not too illuminating so you can see the sky. Kitchen is well stocked. The bed comfy, couch has plenty of seating to stretch out, pub table and chairs by the sliders. You really do have a view from every spot in the house. Highly recommend and so hope I get another reason to come back. I love the solitude but also know people are around not too far away and a short drive to Trader Joe's and all Prescott has to offer. The drive up is gorgeous and I saw families of deer every time. Thank you for sharing your home.

  • WONDERFUL CABIN IN THE WOODS!

    5 of 5

We had such a wonderful time at the "cabin". Really too nice to call a cabin. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and were very comfortable. There is no microwave which was fine for us as we rarely use one. We do use a toaster oven a lot and there is one at the cabin. Definitely not "roughing it". Plenty of cooking utensils, pans, dishes, etc. I am very picky about a bed due to some back problems and the bed was great. Slept well and woke with no backache! The deck has been constructed beautifully and there is comfortable furniture to sit in. Easy to move around during the day when to avoid the sun. The view is just what we hoped for. Beautiful woods and no other cabins to see. We loved seeing three deer walk past while having coffee on the deck in the morning. It is amazing to feel so away from it all and still be able to get down the hill to Costco or Trader Joes, etc. in 15 minutes. Privacy and convenience is hard to beat. A day trip to Lynx Lake was fun and they have many picnic tables with covers. At night we relaxed in the cabin with the large TV and many choices: Netflix, Prime, etc. and satellite TV. We highly recommend this cabin, especially for a romantic getaway for two. The large deposit is understandable and was returned promptly. Thank you, Logan, for answering all our questions and for sharing your beautiful getaway. We hope to be back!

  • Peaceful and private.....

    5 of 5

That's what we were looking for and that's what we got! We spent 3 nights at Logan and Beau's lovely home. Bed is comfortable; kitchen well stocked. Mornings were spent on the deck and evenings by the campfire. We spent one day hiking around Watson Lake and the other on a day trip to Jerome. Logan is very sweet and helped us with the TV to make sure we didn't miss our college football game the first night. :) We recommend Granite Mountain Brewing and The Local, both in Prescott. I'm sure you will love the cabin as much as we did!

  • An attractive, comfortable, well-appointed cabin in a beautiful location.

    5 of 5

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our eight-day stay in Logan's cabin. For us the highlight was sitting on the deck overlooking Prescott National Forest, sipping tea at sunrise or a glass of wine at sunset, listening to cicadas, watching itinerant deer. The interior of the cabin is decorated with pleasing, quirky style. The space is small but feels light and airy. The layout is very functional: no wasted space. All of the furniture--notably the couch and bed--is very comfortable. Great shower! The kitchen is well equipped (we prefer to cook our meals in and so made good use of pots, pans, utensils, first-rate gas stove). Logan is a warm, friendly host, very responsive to questions and requests. We would certainly return--perhaps in cooler weather when we would be tempted to use the sauna and fire pit!

We were looking for small and quiet amongst some pine trees and got exactly what we wanted and more! Communication with Logan and Beau was easy and effortless and the perfect amount of friendly! Very comfortable and obvious a lot of love was applied to their beautiful creation. Definitely recommend!

  • Wonderful getaway!

    5 of 5

We very much enjoyed our time in your not-so-tiny home. Sitting outside watching the hummingbirds and the deer coming around was so peaceful. This time was just what we needed to relax and leave all our cares and worries behind. We wouldn't hesitate to come back again and hope to do so. You made a beautiful, functional and serene home out of an old trailer. Amazing! All the best to you. Thanks for everything.

  • Serene, secluded & romantic getaway in the pines. Beautifully renovated and unique property!

    5 of 5

I enjoyed a wonderful weekend at Logan & Beau's home in the pines with my partner. The pictures really don't do it any justice! The "tiny home" is quite spacious, with plenty of space for two to spread out over the weekend. Logan was a lovely hostess; she was very accommodating and answered all of our questions very quickly, and our stay was stress-free. I would recommend bringing groceries/supplies with you, including some grilling food, and remaining in Prescott Forest for the entirety of your stay. The views at the home are gorgeous, especially upon waking up! The bed is super comfortable, the shower is hot with good pressure, the kitchen is fully equipped, and the TV has Netflix + other similar options. The porch offers a beautiful perch for enjoying the forest, plus there is a back seating area with a nice propane grill, a fire pit, and a sauna. There are some beautiful trails to enjoy within a short drive. Lynx Lake is also a short drive down the road, where you can rent a two-person canoe for about $20 an hour which is a great time. We had a wonderful weekend together and couldn't have enjoyed the forest or the property more. So many nifty details and so much care put into the home! And of course the pines are just stunning.

  • Relaxing and tranquil!

    5 of 5

Logan's home was beautifully done. We are so glad that we spent a couple of nights here. The deck with the sounds of bubbling water and lovely trees made one feel as if they were in a tree house. The birds were an added delight as they landed to see what we were up to. The bed was extremely comfortable and roomy. We will come again if we get the opportunity.
