  • Lovely Accomodation

    5 of 5

The property was well cared for and the hosts were available to answer any questions and help out in any way that they could. The bed was comfortable, everything worked, the apartment was clean, the view was lovely and we really enjoyed our time here.

  • Convenient, beautiful property with exceptional hosts

    5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay in the foothills. The property was close to everything. Walking distance to bagels and coffee! The rental had everything we needed for our stay including an incredible view of the mountains with beautiful seating on the deck. The hosts bent over backwards to make our stay enjoyable. We would highly recommend this property.

  • Not a Bed and Breakfast

    3 of 5

We enjoyed our stay. The property is clean and the kitchen is well stocked for doing your own cooking. It is not a bed and breakfast and should not be advertised as such.

  • Lovely Foothills Home Away From Home

    5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights in early April. Our unit was downstairs with walkway access ( no stairs.) Large windows in the living room allow lots of light. The large widow on the side of the living room has a great view of the mountains and you can watch the light change the look of the mountains throughout the day. Martha and Jean Claude were very gracious hosts and keep you well supplied with fresh towels and anything else needed. It was especially helpful to have coffee, eggs, and English Muffins ready for our first breakfast. The pool was a great addition as the temperature was in the upper 90s for a couple of days. Jean Claude showed us the new pool side unit they are just finishing. We're hoping to stay there on our next trip to Tucson. Our only regret was that we didn't have time for a massage with Martha. I'm sure she's wonderful. Ah well, something to look forward to next time!

  • The house is situated beautifully atop a small hill with a great view of the nearby mountains

    5 of 5

Martha and Jean Claude were very good hosts. We chose to be to ourselves which they respected. The house is very clean and well kept. We enjoyed our stay in the dry heat of Tucson.

  • RendezVous Ocotillo - a great pick!

    5 of 5

We were extremely pleased with our choice - location (gently secluded), apartment layout, bed, & furnishings, grounds/pool, temperature control (air conditioning when needed but were able to enjoy open windows and night air). It was pretty neat having a blooming Saguaro cactus in the entry, which happened to be visible from our living room window! Jean-Claude was so accommodating - our flight was delayed four hours, and we arrived at 10:30 pm, obviously in the dark. We were unable to find the property and he drove down to the highway below to meet us and led us up the right entry to the road up to the property. There were goodies in the refrigerator and we were able to prepare a "breakfast for late supper", and he even brought us a bottle of wine. We wished our three nights had been more, and that there had been time for a massage and more pool time!

  • Amazing and a beautiful view of the sunset every morning

Great experience! I would definitely come back here. Everything was just like they said it would be...I was very happy with our stay. They are both very nice people. It was private, quiet...I loved watching the sun come up every morning. The breakfast prep was a nice touch:-)

  • Tucson Property

    5 of 5

Hello, My wife and I had a wonderful time at this property. The hosts were very accomodating and the property was as described. The breakfast foods in the fridge was a nice touch. Although there are several rooms for rent on the property, we found the accomodations to be private and never had any problems with parking, etc. The only gripe we have is that the bed was a little hard for our taste. This is minor and would not preclude us from staying here again. Thanks, Matt and Kim

  • The highlight of our trip!

    5 of 5

We stayed in Jean-Claude and Martha's beautiful Tucson retreat for a few days on the way home from a road trip to San Diego, and it was a much-needed oasis of rest and relaxation. The property is private, amidst picturesque foothill scenery, and has covered parking for guests (much appreciated!). Jean-Claude met us on arrival, showed us around, chatted with us, and gave us a tutorial on the various electronics in our unit. Martha came by later to see if we needed anything, and it was a pleasure to chat with her, too. I can't say enough about how lovely Le RendezVous is: well maintained, cozy, and comfortable. The kitchen is roomy and great for cooking, with all the necessities for making meals, and we were even provided some ingredients for making breakfast. We cooked our dinner one evening on one of the property's outdoor grills, which was clean and in perfect working order. The laundry machines in the unit came in handy, the beds were comfy, and we really enjoyed the oversized shower (it's a walk-in on level with the rest of the bathroom floor, so no danger of tripping if mobility is a concern). The pool area is fantastic; our favorite time of day for swimming was in early evening, when the sun was not hitting the pool directly, but had warmed the water all day long. Bonus: the pool is great for adults and kids alike; our younger son is a bit small for his age and often can't go beyond the steps of a pool, but the shallow end of the pool was perfect for him. At Le RendezVous we were all able to swim together and relax as a family. When it was time to check out, we all agreed that we wished we could stay longer, and that we want to come back to Tucson and stay with Jean-Claude and Martha again. Next time we visit, we are definitely staying long enough to schedule a massage with Martha!
