  • Nice Condo

    4 of 5

We enjoyed staying here, well kept Condo. They need some kind of closet for clothes in the bedroom off the deck and the bed is way too big for the room, hard to walk around without hitting leg on corners of wood bed frame. but mattress was comfortable. The extra rug over the rug in the living room was very dangerous for tripping, we rolled it up until we left and then put it back down, you can see it in the picture here.Need a kettle in kitchen, other wise well equipped. The barbecue outside near the parking was so filthy, we tried to clean it but no go, other tenants had barbecue's on their deck. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, it was very accessible from the condo and well taken care of, the people we met were very friendly. It was close to amenities and easy to find way around. Beautiful area in the foothills. We would definitely rent it again if coming back to Tucson.

  • Great holiday visit!

    5 of 5

This is a great condo for families with room for all five of us to spread out! We came to Tucson for a 2016 holiday visit (Dec/Jan) and appreciated the owners providing a Christmas tree and decor- it made it feel like home. Kitchen is a little dated but it is big for a condo and all of the dishes, furniture, etc...was new or like new and every inch of the unit was sparkling clean. Living room was perfect for game night and movie night (it rained quite hard a few nights during our stay so we didn't venture out) with a big comfortable couch, loveseat and recliner. There is even a pack-and-play crib and sheets which made it convenient to keep ours upstairs in master for napping and extra one downstairs for playing. WiFi was very fast which my tween appreciated for gaming. We were all very comfortable here and will definitely be back! It was a relief not to be squeezed into a hotel or imposing on relatives for a long stay.

  • Winter escape for retirees

    5 of 5

We're escaping cold weather in the Midwest and it was our second December in the Tucson area but wanted to try a new location. This "foothills" location can't be beat! We took a number of day trips around Southern Arizona and were always happy to return to this home. It was very comfortable for the two of us, plus we were also able to have a couple of friends and our sons come and visit during our stay with plenty of room to spare. Walking to the grocery and restaurants was quite easy and Julie recommended two favorites- Trattoria Pina (delicious Italian fare) and Finns Landing (casual and a bar that our sons also went back to) as well as a very unique gallery - Degrazia Gallery in the Sun. We had not previously appreciated this well known artists work and certainly left quite impressed (plus, it is free!). We also enjoyed Mona's Bakery for a morning pastry and coffee after a walk. Thank you for your hospitality and attention to detail! **Please post your 2018 calendar/rates so that we can book next year if you have availability!**

  • Very clean and comfortable for 2016 holidays!

    5 of 5

We stayed the month of December 2016 and this was a perfect condo for our family of four! This is a roomy and very comfortable home and we will definitely rent again when visiting Tucson. There is lots of space for everyone to spread out. We were even able to entertain friends easily so I disagree with the last review as the 4 adults ate at the table and the kids ate at the adjacent dining bar without any issue. The unit was immaculate, complex was very nice and owners were very helpful and answered calls promptly. They even provided a (artificial) Christmas tree and a few decorations since we were staying for the holidays!! How thoughtful! This location is perfect for enjoying the canyons, getting to the UofA and there are many stores and restaurants within very short walking distance. The owners recommended Trattoria Pina and Finn's Landing and we thoroughly enjoyed both. Thank you for a wonderful stay, great hospitality and break from our winter weather at home!

  • Well located and comfortable - has potential to be great

    3 of 5

The apartment is very comfortable and well located. It is approximately 20 minutes from the University of Arizona (which is where we worked). Beds are comfortable, the lounge suite is also very comfortable. There is no DVD player which my children were disappointed with but, cable TV is provided with tonnes of channels. The kitchen is small as is the area to dine. It was difficult for the 4 of us to sit at the table and eat together (we have 2 skinny children). THis apartment is upstairs. The complex has a lovely swimming pool and 2 spa pools. Very few people used these amenities so it felt like we had the pool and spa to ourselves. The average rating is because of the significant delays in response from the owners. Most of my enquiries were not answered (and still have not been answered, one month after leaving). The air conditioner stopped working; a person came to fix it; advised that the filter needed replacing; owners didn't think so; the air conditioner remained 'broken' for the rest of our stay! We stopped contacting the owners because they rarely responded to emails. In terms of layout, couples who are sharing this apartment would want to know that the main bedroom is on the mezzanine level - you can look down into the lounge. We purchased a clothes air drier - seems crazy with all that sun not to use it to dry clothes naturally - only used the machine drier for smalls. A desk (even a small one) to work at would be useful for those who, like us, were there primarily to work.
