  • Very Comfortable

    5 of 5

Frank met us at the house upon our arrival and immediately made us feel at home. He showed us around the property and explained things he thought would be helpful during our stay. One of the highlights was lemon, lime, grapefruit and tangelo trees in the back yard. This was the freshest citrus we had ever experienced and we picked daily for breakfast, snacks and some wonderful lemon drops. The backyard was very quiet and private. The house was clean and comfortable and well stocked. Having magnifying mirrors on the bathroom counters was perfect, as well as towel heaters in the master bathroom. The hot tub was large and had a nice variety of jets. We played musical chairs so each of us could enjoy the various patterns. The first step is big, so make sure you have a good hold if you have short legs. During our stay we had a couple questions, Frank responded to our texts within minutes with an answer or resolution. We have rented several VRBO houses and we would not hesitate to make a return visit.

  • Just as Advertised!

Frank and Tammy were great hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at their house in Chandler. The house is in great shape, there was plenty of room for our family to spread out along with great seating areas inside and outside.

  • Lovely house with an incredible backyard.

    5 of 5

We couldn't have asked for a better rental. Four of us visited Phoenix for a Jimmy Buffett concert and some relaxing time in the sun. The house was spacious, well equipped and very clean. The backyard was like a private resort; the pool, hot tub and relaxing environment were enjoyed so much. Tammy and Frank were very gracious hosts making sure we had all the information we needed to explore the surrounding area and offering suggestions about our time in Sedona as well. We're already thinking about booking our next trip with them!

  • Fabulous! Wonderful Location and Lovely Rental

    5 of 5

Frank and Tammy were fantastic when we arrived. They showed us around and explained everything we needed to know for our stay. The house is beautiful and well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. The yard is gorgeous, with the swimming pool and hot tub. And fresh limes for our margarita right on the tree in the back yard! The location is great, with an easy drive to dining, shopping, golfing, etc. all within 10-20 mins. Thanks again, Frank & Tammy for a wonderful stay!

  • Loved the house, its amenities & location, and the wonderfully responsive owners.

    5 of 5

Our family of four adults (including handicapped adult with walking trouble) stayed comfortably for ten days in November 2018. Despite cool evening temps, the hot tub was enjoyed most evenings by one or more of us. We hosted two dinner parties (8 people total) with no trouble. Grill, oven, and microwave all worked well. Having both a teapot and Keurig (with both tea and coffee in the house on arrival) was great. We did do food shopping but there were many baking basics, spices, oil & vinegar, etc already on hand. There were plenty of towels, pool towels, and all needed basics. Beds and sheets in all rooms were very comfortable. Minor glitches (we noticed a leaking pipe) were fixed the same day; questions were usually answered within minutes. The recommended butcher was great, too. We rent frequently through HomeAway/VRBO, and this one of the best. Hope to come back.

  • Great House & Yard!!!

    5 of 5

We loved staying at Frank & Tammy's place for two months this winter. The house was great and the back yard was wonderful. They were excellent hosts, responding quickly to any questions or issues we had both before and after we arrived. They provided a listing of local restaurants and shopping which was nice to have. The house was very clean and nicely appointed, with comfortable beds and couches and a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need. The back yard was spacious, with a patio table and chairs for eating outside and an outdoor TV. There were also hot tub, pool and fire pit areas with more seating. We were able to do lots of biking on the nearby canal bike path, and we played some pickle ball on the courts in the neighborhood. The quick access to the 101 freeway made for easy travel to other parts of the Phoenix area. We liked it so much we plan to return again next year!

  • ONE OF THE BEST....

    5 of 5

vacation homes we have stayed at. Frank & Tammy were wonderful hosts showing us around the house when we arrived. They provided a binder full of information on the house, neighborhood community and local restaurants. Frank was very helpful throughout the week. If we had any questions he was very quick to respond to our text and/or calls. We enjoyed the home, as well as, the backyard oasis. The beds were comfortable, the bedrooms and baths were good size. We enjoyed hanging out on the veranda each morning. We received a bonus with the extra items (toiletries, coffee, condiments, etc.) around the house to use. We had such a fun and relaxing vacation. We hardly left the house as it was a vacation in itself. Thanks so much Frank & Tammy for your hospitality.

  • Our Chandler experience

    5 of 5

My wife and I just completed two weeks in Frank and Tammy's home at 2522 El Dorado Circle. We enjoyed it. The home is large and comfortable. Everything works! No surprises. We were in communication with the owners while en route and they met us at the house. They showed us around, showed us how everything operates and provided us with a three-ring binder listing names and addresses of restaurants, movies, grocery stores, gas stations and the like. They were easy to reach and prompt to answer any questions that came to mind, but otherwise left us alone. The patio is especially impressive, beautifully done in stone and big enough to hold a large group, though we were never more than three. The pool is sizeable, the hot tub relaxing, and there are plenty of conversation areas so one can choose sun or shade. There is a table with four chairs; a rattan loveseat with two matching chairs, all grouped on an area rug; a grouping of perhaps six Adirondack chairs on the fine stone ground cover; and two reclining lounge chairs with a small table between next to the pool. The west edge of the patio has four towering palms and next to the house is a large gas grill. On the front of the house is a patio with potted plants and comfortable furniture, great for morning sun or afternoon shade. We slept in the master bedroom on the king sized bed which was just the firmness we like. The master bath had separate sinks, widely spaced, separate mirrors and light fixtures, plenty of drawers, heated towel racks and a large, beautifully tiled shower with two shower heads. Although I used my own, Frank and Tammy also had a tray with soaps, shampoo, toothpaste, floss and the like. There was also an ample walk-in closet. While we only used the microwave, outside grill, toaster and Keurig coffee maker, there is a stove and oven in the kitchen. There is a big HD television in the family room adjoining the kitchen, and one in the master bedroom. Frank and Tammy provided some coffee and hot chocolate for the Keurig, paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap and laundry detergent and some other things, I'm sure, which don't come readily to mind. So, was this home perfect? My only complaint would be that it lacked a light directly over the sink so that at night, anyone standing at the sink would block illumination from the overhead light in the center of the kitchen and pendant lights over the large island. Minor criticism, indeed.

  • Will definitely be back!

    4 of 5

This is a great property in a convenient location. There were just two of us but it would be perfect for a family or a few couples. We used the hottub twice a day, once in the early morning with our coffee and again before bed. Lots of properties have a 'spa' attached to the pool but the water temp is the same as the pool. That's nothing like a real hottub which is perfect for cool mornings and evenings. The only reason we didn't give it a 5 star rating is because we would have loved to have used the pool but it wasn't heated and although we tried, it was just too cold to get in. I totally understand it would be crazy expensive to heat because it's so deep but we are pool people and we missed that. The yard is great, nice evening lighting, tiki torches and a flame propane heater. A lemon tree, grapefruit tree and even a few oranges from the neighbor's tree that hung over on the property. What a treat. The TV outside was nice as we had breakfast on the patio and could watch CNN :). We didn't meet Tammy but Frank was SO nice. He went out of his way and we were so grateful to meet such a genuine helpful person. Anything that we needed or asked about, he was right on it. The entire place is renovated and well appointed. Everything you could need was there. They even provided things like toothbrushes etc in case you forgot yours. One of the nicest features is the entire back of the house is windows so it's so bright and you can see the entire backyard no matter if you are in the kitchen or the family room. I would definitely recommend this property! Thanks Tammy and Frank

  • Amazing backyard oasis!

    5 of 5

We recently returned from a fantastic stay in this Chandler property. The house was immaculate and well-stocked. The layout was open and spacious and had plenty of room for our family of 6. Beds were very comfy and the spa-like master ensuite bathroom was a treat! We spent most of our time in the back yard enjoying the pool and amazing hot tub. With palm trees, fruit trees (we enjoyed delicious lemons), thoughtful landscaping touches, and plenty of seating, it felt like our own private resort. We also took a short walk to enjoy the community pool and hot tub, which was an added bonus. There was easy access to the 101, and the location is great for shopping (Arizona Mills and Chandler Fashion Mall within 10 minutes) and plenty of grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Our host, Frank, was very accommodating and made sure he was available to reach if we had any questions or concerns during our stay. We would definitely stay again!

  • Spectacular Winter Vacation

    5 of 5

This was our second stay at this comfortable, spacious home in Chandler, AZ. We really enjoy the accommodations and extra dining to entertain both inside and outside. Improvements were made to better accommodate our needs to include a larger second bedroom with TV and a newly installed hot tub. We used the wood burning fireplace and the outside fire pit that was very inviting to the cool evening temperatures. The back yard had a new look with new stone around the pool and around the new hot tub. An outside TV on the covered patio was used frequently to enjoy the news, music and several sporting events. New select lighting fixtures added extra atmosphere to the back yard setting. They continue to make improvement that greatly benefit their renters. The home owner was available to answer our questions, respond to minor issues (coffee maker cratered) and help direct us to the best restaurants and local events for us and our quests. A list of the most popular Restaurants is in the binder. This added features allows their quests to maximize their time, enjoy the best restaurants and events in the area. There are several golf courses within 6 miles and close to the Chicago Cubs spring training stadium. The hot tub allowed me to enjoy (19) rounds of golf during our stay. We certainly recommend this home to all who visit this area. It is located near the 101, 60 & 202 highways that makes easy access wherever you're going. You won't be disappointed in this property! • Very Comfortable Get Away

    5 of 5

My Sweetheart and I spent the month of March at Frank and Tammy's home, and we had a couple stay with us for a week as well. The house is wonderfully equiped with all the amenities you could hope for. The master bedroom is simply beautiful with private access to the backyard and pool. The kitchen is very spacious and well equipped to host visitors, with a cozy kitchen nook to have breakfast. The backyard is huge and the pool is welcome on warm March days. And the grapefruit and orange trees were just delightful. If you are bringing man toys, there is a really great two-car garage and Frank found us storage for our trailer very close by. Chandler is an ideal location for access to all the facilities and events in the greater Phoenix area as well as having good infrastructure access to points outside the city. Tammy and Frank were extremely hospitable hosts who went well beyond the call of duty to help us enjoy our time in their home. Don't be surprised if you find yourself inviting them over for Margaritas and Guacamole and forging a new friendship - they are good people. Enjoy...when we aren't there of course! :)

The house is amazing. It is very open, spacious and comfortable. The pool water was to cold to enjoy but was beautiful to look at. We really enjoyed the availability of the fruit trees that were on the property. It was nice not to have to buy it! The location is close to all your shopping needs and quick access to 101. We also have a special needs child who uses a walker/wheelchair all the time. She was able to navigate around the house and back yard with little assistance. The master bathroom was also very accommodating for her to shower with ease. The owner was very helpful with local attractions to visit and answer any questions we had. Sharon Turner

This vacation rental was fantastic! We loved everything about this home, from the location, to the newly remodeled master bath to the outdoor fire pit. Very conveniently located off the 101 in a quiet Chandler neighborhood with all the comforts of home. Two couples shared the house which provided enough privacy for both. We're definitely looking forward to our next visit.
