  • Very quaint and clean

    5 of 5

Sedona is amazing!! Unbelievable natural beauty. Visiting during the “off” season was perfect if you do not like crowds and long waits. The lodging was perfect if you want to be located in the uptown area near all the shops, and restaurants. Highly recommended!

  • Great View!

    4 of 5

The Room Upstairs is comfortable, clean, the location is perfect and the owner has provided everything you need for your stay. Sedona’s red rocks are beyond beautiful. We signed up for a Pink Jeep Tour and walked to our check in location from where we stayed. We would also highly recommend the Pump House restaurant for dinner and the Wildflower Bread Company for breakfast.

  • Comfortable, and Convenient

    5 of 5

The room was everything that was advertised. We walked 2 blocks to the main business district of Sedona where we shopped, ate, took photos and strolled. The property was very easy to find near the intersection of Highways 89A and 179. We were lucky to find accommodations that rival 4-5 star hotel rooms with the all important king size bed. When we return to Sedona we will plan our trip around the availability of one of these spaces.

We really loved the location. Walking distance to town and to some great restaurants. We could also walk to the Pink Jeep Tour which was a lot of fun. Room was quiet and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend it to friends and would stay there again. Thanks

  • A Place to Return To

    5 of 5

This was our first lengthy road trip (1,500 miles one way) . The Room Upstairs was clean , convenient, & uncomplicated. The three nights staying there were the quietest, most comfortable, & we will recommend it to friends. It was great to use the upstairs covered patio & enjoy the view of the surrounding hillside.

The room, location, and views are great! We really enjoyed our stay, though I would suggest staying in Room #4 though since you can hear people talking on the shared patio.

What a wonderful place to stay. Amazing location. Once you park your car you won’t need to use it again. Our stay was so pleasant and accommodations were outstanding. Our only bad thing is that we only stayed one night. Wish we booked more. We will definitely be returning

Just what we asked for. The room had a rustic feel, quite, and close proximity to uptown Sedona. If you are looking for a place to stay, look no further. This is a great place!

Loved the convenience of the central location while still providing beautiful Views of the mountains. The apartment was perfect for the two of us with all the amenities we needed. It was clean and fresh, making a great respite after long days of hiking. We will definitely look forward to staying here for our next visit.

  • A Hidden Gem!

    5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Rooms Upstairs! The bed was very comfortable, and the accommodations met and/or exceeded our needs. Very close (walkable) to "uptown." The patio was a delightful area to unwind, complete with comfy chairs, blankets for chillier evenings, and a view to die for! We will definitely return next time we are in Sedona!

  • The perfect place in Sedona

    5 of 5

This cozy set of rooms is in the heart of uptown. I like that because I don’t need to fight the traffics to go anywhere. It’s like a comfortable hotel room with more character (the modern building was designed by local architect) and a really awesome patio with views of the red rocks.

This is a great spot to relax and be independent without the usual hotel and resort routine. You get the experience of living in uptown Sedona.

  • Even Better Then The Pictures / Great Value

    5 of 5

We had a great time in Sedona and very much enjoyed our stay at The Rooms Upstairs Serenity Room #3. It was more spacious then we expected, the place was very clean and the views were great. The property is steps away from the main street (89A) making it very easy to access restaurants and shopping. If you're looking for a comfortable, spacious place to stay in Sedona that's close to the action, look no further!

  • Great studio in Uptown Sedona!

    5 of 5

This is a great place! It's not huge, but plenty roomy enough. Has a nice kitchenette and bathroom. Very comfy bed. It's basically like staying in a nice hotel in Uptown Sedona for 1/3 the cost of nearby hotels in Uptown Sedona. Very close and easy walking distance to a ton of restaurants. Check in/out was easy. When I needed to contact Penny (for something that ended up being my fault, I misread the wifi password) she was available right away and happy to help.

We loved our stay in the Room Upstairs! The view of the mountains from the patio was gorgeous. The room was so attractive and cozy and was in a perfect location just two blocks from dining and shopping in Uptown Sedona. The hosts thoughtfully displayed a list of favorite restaurants and hiking trails.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sedona. The room was well appointed with kitchenette and lovely porch to enjoy the delightful weather and views. We had one problem which was promptly handled by our hosts in a manner that more than met our expectations. Would highly recommend and would go back.

  • What's Not To Like?

    5 of 5

Room #3 is a pretty large room with all the amenities anyone could ask for. After all, you are in Sedona to enjoy the outdoors. You can, of course, sit back and relax on the very large covered patio and enjoy the breeze and red rock views. The room itself has a very large, comfy bed and lots of tv options. They said the bed was a queen, but I found it about the same size as my king at home. There is also a window seat/bed/reading nook. There is a kitchenette with microwave, toaster and a mini fridge and a little bistro table to enjoy a snack with a beautiful red rock view. The walk in shower is huge and nicely appointed with Mexican tile accents. The bathroom itself was roomy and had a very efficient ceiling heater. Additionally, room #3 is in an awesome location. You can easily walk to all the uptown stores. We also walked to the Tlaquepaque, around Los Abrigados, and to our favorite dinner spot. Very centrally located and an easy drive to pretty much all the hiking spots. I'm glad we found this place. We had a wonderful stay. Hint to people that aren't familiar with Sedona- uptown is touristy and pricey and the food is very average. If it's your first trip, definitely go for a jeep tour. It's really fun. The Tlaquepaque has a few good food options. We tried a new burger spot called Dellepiane at The Hillside Shops this time. It was a great burger with yummy sweet potato fries. Indian Gardens is great for lunch. Cucina Rustica in The Village is also beautiful and has great Italian food. The best food is by far, hands down, The Elote Cafe. The are only open for dinner and be prepared to wait. It's totally worth it. It is the best food I've ever had. EVER. PERIOD. END OF STORY. We walked to The Elote from Room #3 but we are very familiar with Sedona. It was about 1 1/2 miles from the room. Enjoy your stay!

I really enjoyed my stay. The owners were wonderful. My only wish was that the room had had a comfortable chair for reading or watching tv.
