  • Beautiful!

    5 of 5

We enjoyed our two month stay very much. The patio and view were our favorites! The well-equipped kitchen was great since we like to cook. The location on the west side was very convenient for us once we learned the area, and the proximity to the Sweetwater trails was a fantastic bonus. Lovely, comfortable home.

  • Beautiful location!

    4 of 5

Mark was a very hospitable host and met us at the location to ensure an easy check-in. The gorgeous view is the first thing to grab your attention. The house is well equipped with everything your visit needs. It is an easy drive to various grocery stores and restaurants. The poolside covered patio is fantastic....perfect place to stay out of the sun, but still enjoy the lovely outdoors. Thank you Mark for a great holiday!

Beautiful place. This home is just like the pictures. We used the outdoor cooking area for dinner and the kitchen had everything you could think of. Good location for getting around Tucson. Hope to come back again. Best home we have ever rented. Thanks Mark for meeting us and explaining everything

  • “Absolutely Wonderful “

    5 of 5

We had a spectacular and wonderful time staying at Casa Amapola. The house was beyond words, so comfortable and had spectacular views out almost every window. Plus the back outside porch was just wonderful. The views during the day and at night are breathtaking. The pool and the hot tub by far are the cleanest we have ever seen. We have stayed in several homes in Tucson and this home by far is the nicest. Also Mark and Paul are exceptional, they went above and beyond to make our stay the absolute best. Everything you need they have provided. The worst part about our stay was leaving. Thank you again Mark and Paul for sharing your beautiful home.

  • Fantastic House and Views from patio!

    5 of 5

We had a wonderful time discovering Tucson and staying at Mark’s beautiful southwestern retreat! Close to Downtown, U of A, Saguaro National Park, Old Tucson Studios, and Sonora Desert Museum. Mark was a terrific host, always available to answer questions or to recommend a restaurant. A great oasis in the Sonoran desert!

  • Great place to stay

    5 of 5

The house was great. It had everything we needed. We had a few very minor issues at the beginning of our stay which were quickly resolved. The house is a close to some great hiking. We would definitely stay there again.

We were just in Tucson for our son's graduation from UofA....and feel so lucky to have found this property. We spent 4 incredible nights here and loved every minute of it. The home itself is beautiful, ALL of the seating indoor and outdoor is extremely comfortable....as was the bedding. And did I mention the backyard? The covered patio, pool and hot tub were certainly the highlight of the house for us and where we spent most of our time. We even hosted a small graduation party Saturday night for some friends and family and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the home. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

  • Paradise

    5 of 5

Welcoming views on the rolling hills West of Tucson Arizona, finds you a pleasant piece of paradise. Our stay there, in the middle of October was perfect with a large relaxing and well stocked home to the warm surroundings. We spent most of our time on the back patio watching the sunrise and enjoying the pool and spa. Mark and Paul were very helpful in showing us where things were and how things worked. They responded to all questions we had in a timely manner. We had a wonderful time there and hope to visit again in the Spring.

  • Vacation Excellence

    5 of 5

Wonderful place to enjoy a vacation. The home is beautiful with a great layout with very nice accommodations and a very nice pool with BBQ area for complete family funit. The property is nicely situated for complete privacy. On our first night we sat on the back porch overlooking the twinkling lights of Tucson and listening to some sounds of the desert (Coyotes and Owls). We were there the night of the Harvest Moon and watched it rise over the Santa Catalina Mountains. The location is excellent for making daytime excursions easy to do ( Mt. Lemmon, Sonoran Desert, Tombstone, Nogales, Organ Pipe Cactus Monument, etc.) and return in time dinner or some nightime activities in Tucson. If your into organic food we found a fantastic place on Tanque Verde Blvd called Renee's Organic Oven. It's small so call ahead for reservations. Mark was great to deal with and you can see his pride of ownership throughout the house. Enjoy!!

  • This was the perfect place for our family gathering

    5 of 5

We stayed at Casa Amapola during the graduation week for University of Arizona. We needed a place where we could totally relax. We wanted comfortable indoor/outdoor living with spectacular mountain views - a quintessential Tucson desert experience. We found all that and more. Mark is a fantastic host and made us feel like the house was truly ours for the week. We highly recommend this beautiful desert retreat.

  • You will love this place!

    5 of 5

If you are badly in need of some R & R, and would like to do that in a beautifully serene and gorgeous spot, you have found the place. The house is a mix of traditional Southwest territorial, with some wonderful updates that make it extremely comfortable. Every room has interesting and original artwork, as well as being very tastefully decorated. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need. The view out of every window is spectacular. THEN you go outside to a lovely outdoor "room" above the pool where you will spend most of your time...we ate all our meals there. The plantings around the pool were in bloom when we were there which added to our enjoyment of the desert plants. We chose to heat the pool and spent a good portion of our time in the water, or lounging in the chairs provided. Although we didn't get to meet Mark, we spoke with him on the phone and found him to be delightful and very willing to be available if we needed him. We highly recommend you spend some time in this oasis in the desert.

We spent a week at this wonderful home, and it wasn't enough. The view from the patio was spectacular and the home delightful. It is by far the best vacation property we have ever rented. We came with another couple and they were as delighted as we were. We would love to return.
