This place is in an amazing location. The property is charming, well kept and you can tell Jac cars about his property and guests. Jac is super friendly and makes your stay just that much better. I will definitely stay here again!!!!

My wife and I made Flagstaff our home base for day trips to Sedona/Jerome, Grand Canyon, and Petrified Forest National Park. Jac was a great host, welcoming us when we got there and otherwise respecting our privacy. The place was clean, comfortable, and within walking distance to good breweries and restaurants. Would definitely stay again next time we are in the area.

We had such a wonderful stay at Jag's carriage apartment! The location was close to restaurants and shopping. The apartment was beautifully decorated and extremely clean and had everything that we needed for a long relaxing weekend. It is located right in the heart of downtown, and a short drive to anything and everything. ! I highly recommend a stay at this cozy apartment for a nice getaway!

Jac's accommodations had all the comforts of home, both historically preserved and with modern conveniences. We could not have been more pleased with the location, cleanliness, and accessories, as well as with Jac, our host, who offered all the benefits of a long-term resident such as restaurant recommendations and how to get where we wanted to go. We definitely would ask Jac to stay at his place again when we go back.

My husband and I just spent 4 days at Jac's adorable Carriage House. It is the perfect location for walking into Flagstaff and enjoying the many restaurants and bars and shops. Jac has provided menus for local restaurants and we hit most of them either for breakfast or lunch. The place is quaint and comfortable - I slept great! Location is great for day trips to Grand Canyon, Sedona, skiing. We crammed a lot in and it was always nice to come back to the comfort of the carriage house. Thank you Jac for thinking of everything and thank you Carrie (cohost) for being there to show us around and help out if needed. Would definitely recommend and will definitely stay again if we come back to the area. Karen

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The place itself is absolutely charming and the owner, Jac, was very pleasant and friendly. The residence is walking distant to restraruants, breweries, and coffee shops. We look forward to staying at this property again in the future.

My husband, daughter and I enjoyed the lovely carriage house! It was comfortable, clean and the owner greeted us and shared some history about the property. The furnishings were very pretty and we almost never wanted to leave the cozy space! This will be our annual go to place when we stay in flagstaff! Norma Holmes

Old downtown Flagstaff. Host was super nice. Plenty of parking and a quick walk to anything in old town. Loved it.

This had everything we needed for our stay in Flagstaff. Super location and very convenient for shopping and restaurants. Clean and full of charm. Host was extremely welcoming. We used it as a base to visit the Grand Canyon for hiking for two days and it worked great.

A modest apartment. Big living room, small bedroom, modern bath. Washer and dryer downstairs. Easy walking distance to good restaurants. Friendly host. Off street parking. Kitchen has a few cooking items, no dishwasher. Only drawback, which is universal in Flagstaff, is train noise. It is better than in the big hotels by the interstate, and would have been even better if I had noticed that a window behind a shade was open a few inches. C'est la vie, or better, c'est le bruit.

We loved our stay at The Carriage House from the first moment we drove in. The parking area was lined with tall sunflowers and the gardens were so beautiful. Inside was very comfortable with all you need for a wonderful visit. Jac was a perfect host and gave us great information about Flagstaff. Great location, nice walk into downtown. Donna and Alan V

Can't recommend highly enough. Beautiful antique home lovingly and tastefully restored, filled with antiques. Comfy bed, stocked kitchen, in the heart of historic Flag.

Jac went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and gave us tips about dining options. The apartment was extemely well kept, had beautiful details and was very clean! We couldn´t have asked for me. We will hopefully be back soon!

We really enjoyed our short but amazing trip to the Flagstaff area.On a 3 state, 4 destination 2 week adventure this was our 2nd stop and one we'll never forget. Jac's home was immaculately kept and everything we needed as a family of 4.Being that it was in July it was a bit warm for me - perfect for kids, but he did inform us to keep the windows open at night and that helped tremendously with keeping the temp down at night and upon shutting them 1st thing in AM, kept somewhat cool for most the day. We walked to dinner, all the great local stores and enjoyed our stay tremendously. Also the perfect distance for our day trip to the magnificent Grand Canyon. .

My wife and I had a great respite from the valley heat in Flagstaff over the 4th of July holiday. The Carriage House is comfortable, charming and has a perfect location. Jac is a wonderful host. We totally enjoyed the 4th of July parade and the patriotic crowd enthusiasm. The only downside was traffic noise since the house is adjacent to a busy street, and we like to sleep with the windows open. However, the noise was not bad enough to keep us from coming back!

This place was amazing! Owner Jac was incredibly accommodating in every way. You have to experience this place to appreciate it. Pictures just do not do it justice. Love the Flagstaff area. There are so many great restaurants within walking distance of this house. The only time we got in our car was to go sightseeing. We will be back!

My husband and I stayed for a week in early April. Jac was very accommodating and helpful. The place was very clean and comfortable and the location is excellent for walking to downtown Flagstaff to check out one of the many pubs, restaurants or shops. We used the outdoor fire pit a couple of evenings and it was a nice place to end our day. Flagstaff is also a great location to use as a "home base" to visit all that northern Arizona has to offer (Grand Canyon, Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon, Walnut Canyon, etc). Would recommend this place for sure!

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the carriage house. It was simple but had everything we needed. Very close to town so we could walk everywhere. Will definitely stay there again if we are in Flagstaff!

This apartment is far more than you could ever hope for in a rental, and my husband and I are certain it's the best rental we've ever stayed at! Jac has the carriage house fixed up nicely, and as architects we loved that he had rain barrels, an amazing fire pit, and radiant floors! The kitchen is stocked with all the utensils you need, and the bathroom is well equipped as well. It's decorated with art from worldly travels, and felt just like home. Thanks for a great stay, Jac!

Place was clean and tidy with interesting decor and originality that provides an escape from the norm. While the home was built in the 1920s, the bathroom and kitchen were updated and modern. Jac was a perfect, gracious host. Great communicator and he is happy to provide company or give you your space depending on what you want. I´d stay there again.

Jac was very friendly and welcoming. We used the place while moving our daughter into her dorm room at NAU. It was a nice place to come home to - would've enjoyed staying longer.

Everything is so close to this location. You can walk into town and hop a transit bus, buy an all day pass and see many areas of the town without driving. Loved the quaintness of the apartment and that a lot of the original features were kept. Just watch out for the thresholds - you'll stub your toe once and not do it again! The grounds are beautiful - Jac does a great job with all the beautiful flowers.

I loved staying in the carriage house. A short walk to the historic downtown. The apartment was very comfortable and well appointed. Jac is awesome. Available to help with anything but quiet (since he lives in the other apartment). The only caveat is the house is near a busy street. The weather was very warm so I left the windows open and there was a good bit of traffic noise. I solved that by putting the fan in the bedroom at night to cool the room off and muffle the noise. Would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend it!

My wife and I recently enjoyed three nights in this gorgeous, yet relaxed rental. Our host, Jac, was friendly, informative and helpful. The house is just a short walk from many bars, restaurants and the local community theatre, but is in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Jac has decorated the place with antiques and family heirlooms, but the whole vibe of the place is laid back and comfortable. We would recommend this terrific rental to anyone looking to enjoy gracious hospitality and a terrific location from which to access all that Flagstaff has to offer.

The property was very clean and quaint. I feel that it really only accommodates 2 people. Loved the location and the beautiful yard and the owner was very accommodating. I think the kitchen was a little weak in utensils and pans. Also, a better, bigger coffee maker would have been nice.

We were in town for a concert last Saturday night and were thrilled that we could find such a quiet, well-appointed VRBO so close to downtown Flagstaff. We enjoyed the local coffees provided by the owner and had a very pleasant and thorough walkthrough of the property before we kicked off our stay. We would certainly stay again the next time we head north.
