Great facility, great location (shaded parking), and great hosts. Wayne and Nancy have provided everything you need to move in and be "at home” in just a few minutes. Looking forward to going back next year.

This apartment has everything you need. It´s close to everything and includes a washer/dryer. I would definitely come back. Wayne was an awesome host!

The place was very clean, quiet and private. The hosts even had some complementary food items that were perfect for a tired traveler not ready to go out grocery shopping right away for breakfast.

Wayne is an excellent host. We arrived early in the morning and was able to drop off out luggages at Wayne´s place until we came back in the evening. checked in was smooth and wayne left us some fresh fruits, snacks and water. It´s convenience and very quite location and we love it.

As soon as I got out of my car upon arrival I heard kids laughing and playing on their bikes and I loved it from there on. The last place I rented was in the inner city area and very sketchy so this place was welcomed. Small but has everything you need and close to coffee and food. Two thumbs up!!

My husband and I had the opportunity to stay at the Shippy Chalet for two beautiful weeks. The apartment was clean, well furnished, and the personal detail to making the apartment inviting was truly appreciated. Wayne provided snacks, water, coffee. and other edibles prior to our arrival. His hospitality far exceeded our expectations! We encourage others to stay at the Shippy Chalet when visiting the Phoenix area. We look forward to another visit and know where we will stay! My wife and I have stayed here while visiting our son and his family. We have always had a great experience. The Shippy's are very accommodating. It is clean, well-cared for, and convenient. It is perfect for two people!

Very pleased with this place! Well equipped kitchen, neat and clean, private entrance & carport space to park. Small outside area to enjoy the great weather! Very quiet neighborhood within walking distance of Fry's grocery. Would highly recommend!

We were at the property in the mornings and evenings. The bed and pillows were comfortable and towels were very nice. We traveled to Tempe to spend time with our daughter and her family, so we´re not around to enjoy the patio. We did not prepare meals in the apartment, but there is a stove, pans and microwave. Our grandson did stay with us one night and the love seat folds out to a small bed, which was pretty comfortable. Due to the small space, the apartment may be too small if you will be spending a lot of time there. The loveseat is not real comfortable if you would be lounging, watching TV. Overall, for a short stay it met our needs.

The host was very respectful and friendly, the area is quite and all the amenities almost complete. As if you could just check-in without bringing anything else except for some clothing. The rest are provided by the owners. Thank You.

Whether it's for a short vacation or an extended stay you can't find anything better than the Shippy Chalet. This cozy little apartment is connected to the back of a private residence in a quiet, peaceful, and safe location in Tempe. It is just a short walk to a major grocery store, a Starbucks, and other shopping, and just a short drive to many restaurants and attractions that a large university town provides. The owners (Wayne and Nancy) have thought of everything-- pots, pans ,all kitchen utensils you could possibly need, and towels, linen, soaps, etc. for the bath and bedroom. You even have your own private laundromat facilities. When you arrive you can expect to find fruit, a variety of snack bars, and food condiments waiting on you. My wife and I have stayed there for 5 consecutive years and we have never even considered looking elsewhere. For us it is our home in Arizona. Thanks, Wayne and Nancy, for your hospitality and all you do to make your apartment the ideal place to stay in metro Phoenix.

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The property was well appointed and maintained. There were a number of extras which made the stay more convenient and accommodating. I would recommend this property highly. The location was wonderful for easy access to shopping and places of interest. I have booked it again for later.

My fiancݩ and I enjoyed our stay. We felt at home as we had everything available to us upon arrival - from kitchen and bathroom items to a comfortable and cozy house. I would recommend this to everyone.
