  • 5+ stars!

    5 of 5

We've stayed at this lovely home twice in the past two months, both for long weekends while visiting our daughter who is a sophomore at UA. The location is very convenient to the university, downtown Tucson, and major sights (Botanical Gardens, Mount Lemmon, Saguaro National Park), as well as many restaurants. The house itself is delightful, clean, and comfortable. On our last visit, my husband and I were joined by our older daughter, so the house was perfect for all four of us to hang out together. Rebecca is a gracious and responsive owner/host -- she had delicious cookies waiting for us when we arrived -- very kind of her! We've stayed in many different homes and apartments when traveling, but this is one of our favorites. We hope to return to Tucson and the Silver House very soon.

  • Great location, adorable house!

    5 of 5

Rebecca is likely the most hospitable host we have met. She left delicious homemade cookies for us. She also gave my son stickers, a book to read and a book of mazes. All the details were thoughtful. We wanted to move in!

  • Beautiful home in immaculate condition

    5 of 5

We absolutely loved staying here. Rebecca was a responsive host and was great to coordinate with. The backyard is beautiful too and my husband and I enjoyed sitting outside.

  • We felt like we where at home!

    5 of 5

A great U of A location. Everything we needed to eat, sleep, celebrate and relax. A beautiful home inside and out. Perfect for our family of three visiting and our fourth coming over for the home cooking. This is a perfect example why a home beats a boring hotel room any day.

  • Lovely house, excellent location

    5 of 5

We had a great stay. The house is immaculately clean and a perfect amount of space for two people traveling together. We really enjoyed sitting on the back patio and drinking coffee.

  • A true home away from home

    5 of 5

My husband, two kids, and I travelled to Tucson for four nights to visit family. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful decor and comfortable space in this house. It was perfect for our stay! The house was very clean, well stocked (coffee, tea, plenty of towels), and offered lots of space to relax. We loved our evenings in the backyard, relaxing on the couches out there and watching the sunsets. I recommend walking the couple of blocks to Blue Willow for breakfast.

  • Exactly what I was looking for

    5 of 5

Very convenient location to UoA, downtown, outdoor recreation in quiet neighborhood only a block from larger road, nicely furnished, comfortable, lovely private courtyard.

  • Cozy, quiet casa

    5 of 5

My daughter and I had a fabulous six night stay at this lovely, centrally located house. A myriad of restaurants and shopping are nearby, yet the house and neighborhood are very quiet and peaceful. We felt right at home. The house is clean and bright throughout, with all of the amenities to enhance our stay. We loved exploring Tucson during the day, and returning to the large yard, lovely gardens and sitting area to enjoy the late afternoon/evening. The owner was very helpful and accessible with restaurant and shopping suggestions, both before and during our visit. We're already planning a return trip to Tucson, and will definitely stay here again.

  • Wonderful, quiet neighborhood and great back patio.

    5 of 5

We chose this house because of its location. The neighborhood is charming, the neighbors friendly and there are numerous coffee shops and restaurants along Campbell Avenue within walking distance. The house was small but clean and attractively decorated with local artwork. Rebecca, our host, was friendly and accommodating. She has added some homey touches to the shelves with lovely tiles, teapots and knick knacks. The queen size beds were comfortable and so were the pillows. We liked the black lacquer dining table with sturdy chairs for eating and playing cards. We especially loved the back patio which has been recently landscaped with stonework and plantings. Our dog was very comfortable and safe there. There are some nice old trees surrounding the house and although you can’t see the mountains, the view in every direction is pleasing from both inside and outside the house. The television set gave us some problems and Rebecca made every effort to help resolve them.

  • My favorite VRBO property!

    5 of 5

I can't say enough good things about this property and Rebecca, the host. The house is definitely 5 stars, and I'd give Rebecca 10 stars if I could. My wife, daughter, and I were going to Tucson for a wedding. Prior to arrival, I told Rebecca that I hoped my daughter could see javelina(small pig like animal) while in Tucson. When we arrived, Rebecca had left a little stuffed animal javelina for my daughter...and cookies! So sweet of her! The house itself is nicely updated but still retains vintage charm. The decor of the house was also wonderful, very charming. Parking out front was never a problem and there's also private parking in the back. The backyard has a really nice covered patio. My daughter loved the cactus garden out front. The house is in a mellow residential location, but only a couple minutes walk to a great coffee shop, juice bar, restaurants(Blue Willow is awesome), and a guitar shop(!). It's an easy drive to U of A, downtown, old town, etc. Next time we're in Tucson we'll definitely bestaying here again!

  • We LOVE the Silver Street House

    5 of 5

This was the second time we have stayed at this VRBO. We feel so "at home" there. It is just the right size for the two of us and our two Golden Retrievers. The neighborhood is quiet and fun to walk our dogs in. It is close to U of A, fine dining, and old friends!! The house is beautifully appointed and has everything you need to cook meals for company or just the two of us. The landscaping is beautiful Sonoran desert shrubs and cacti. The backyard is securely enclosed for the pets and artistically designed. We hope to be staying there many more times in the future!

  • Great play to stay and a good base for exploring

    5 of 5

The house was perfect for two of us - comfortable and cozy, nicely decorated and all the amenities we needed. There was a nice patio at the rear - shaded form the sun and which was very nice at the end of the day. Restaurants and food stores are close by, and it was a great base to explore local attractions and also do visit places of interest in the surrounding area. U of A is very close and downtown not much further. We would stay here again if visiting Tucson.

  • Very cute home in midtown Tucson.

We loved the 2 bedroom one bath home. It was nicely appointed and had everything we needed for cooking and visiting with family. The backyard was beautifully landscaped and had several very comfortable sitting areas. We would love to stay here again. Rebecca was great to work with.

I was very impressed with this home, the pictures really don't do it justice. It was clean, well decorated, and had plenty of room to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Plus The owner was a pleasure to work with, so just added to the experience. I'll definitely stay there again.

What a wonderfully remodeled and cute bungalow! We stayed here for the U of A graduation and it was perfect in many ways -- location, amenities, outdoor space! We will stay here again when in the area. We had the best weekend ever! Thanks so much, Rebecca!
