  • The Ranch House is a very relaxing oasis.

    5 of 5

The Ranch House and all of Oracle Heights Estate is a very relaxing spot. The property is immaculate and nicely furnished. The location provided easy access to all the attractions of Tucson. Restaurants and grocery store are within a mile.We would definitely stay there again.

  • Relaxing, active and beautiful

    5 of 5

This location and setting suited our purposes perfectly. We wanted an active vacation with the ability to unwind in a beautiful setting, and the ranch house certainly filled the bill. It has a beautiful view of the mountains, an interesting yard with cacti and the occasional coyote passing through, great tennis and pickle ball court, a pool, and space to either soak up the sun or find some shade to read. Amenities are close by car. We loved the loop trail and golf courses of Tucson. Jean Marie was very responsive to our questions. The unit was very clean and functional. All in all a wonderful experience and we would highly recommend this property.

  • Perfect in all ways

    5 of 5

We stayed at the Ranch House in 02/18 visiting from New Jersey. The house really is perfect in all ways. The décor is beautiful, the kitchen is well appointed with everything that you could need for your stay, the bed is tremendously comfortable , the views are awesome. The home is spotlessly clean. Better than any hotel that we've stayed in. It is private and serene yet right near everything you could want. We found great restaurants right around the corner as well as downtown. Jean Marie and Kelly couldn't have been more accommodating. We cant wait to return!

  • Beautiful casita with gorgeous patios, great (unexpected) location!

    5 of 5

Hidden away near TohonoChul, quiet and secluded, this spot offers a newly renovated large casita. Very private and roomy with new appliances too. Dual patio seating provides views of sunsets AND the Catalina Mtns! Small kitchen and bath (wonderful shower) encourage quick breakfasts or drop into any of 3 (yes, 3) exemplary breakfast spots within a 7 minute drive. A big plus is getting quickly to Hwy. 10; no more l-o-n-g drives on Oracle Road. Also, the WiFi is wicked fast and streaming is a breeze. Jeanmarie and Kelly manage to be caring, available and unobtrusive at the same time. We enjoyed being met when we arrived with a nice chat and felt very at ease with the electronics etc. We will certainly be back next year!

  • Beautiful Desert Retreat

    5 of 5

The Ranch House was everything we hoped it would be. The desert and sunsets were spectacular. The large open floor plan was spacious and offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was secluded and quiet while still close to shopping and restaurants. The owners were very helpful and the unit was very well stocked with everything we needed. We definitely hope to return in the future.

  • Excellent place to stay

    5 of 5

This was our first trip to Tucson, and spur of the moment. How lucky we were to end up at this property. Jeanmarie and Kelly were wonderful hosts who had thoughtfully supplied everything we needed. The Bunkhouse is light filled and full of windows with private views of the beautiful property. Nightly, we watched the sunset reflecting on the Catalina’s from the porch. The property is close to restaurants, grocery stores and coffee shops. We also love to play tennis and consider the tennis court a true gem. It is in great shape and private and we played nearly every day.

  • We enjoyed every day we were there, very relaxing. We would definitely go back!

    5 of 5

The property was everything we were wanting for our trip. We were there for a week with two other couple and all the quest houses were very clean and ready for us to check when we arrived. Kelly and Jeanmarie very nice in explaining everything about the property. As well as pointing us in the right direction for grocery stores and place to grab a bite to eat the first night. Very much enjoyed having the pickleball courts on property and we took complete advantage of them being there. As noted in the title I would absolutely stay again if we travel back to Tucson.

  • Already have been back

    5 of 5

My wife and I booked the Ranch House for the month of March. It was everything we hoped it would be plus a whole lot more. The facilities were great, the sunsets beautiful, and the quiet and beauty of the grounds very relaxing. Three weeks after returning to the Midwest, we found we needed to be back in Tucson and fortunately the Ranch house was available so we enjoyed a week in April in it. Highly recommend the Ranch House.

  • Desert Delight

    5 of 5

We recently had the opportunity to spend 10 days at the Ranch House and enjoyed every moment there. The owners met us upon our arrival and oriented us to the property and also checked in with us several times over our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. The space was just as picture - large, airy, and sparkling clean. The decor was warm and charming. Kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals and charcoal was provided for the grill. King size bed was the most comfortable we've ever slept in. We'd wake up well rested to the rising sun - ready to enjoy the private tennis/pickleball court. Our favorite time of day was the late afternoon when we'd retire to the private back deck, sip wine, and take in the view of the blooming desert vegetation. Loved exploring the property and getting the chance to take some good photos of the various cacti. There was easy access to major supermarkets and other shopping. 0nly improvement would be warmer pool water - 59* was just too cold for enjoying a swim. We definitely plan on returning next year to enjoy the quiet and recharge our spirits. Thanks to Annemarie and Kelly for creating such an amazing desert retreat.

  • We hit the VRBO jackpot with this property!

    5 of 5

The pictures don't do it justice! This is a little gem of a hideaway tucked back in the desert/foothills of Tucson. Yes, it is one room but it is a LARGE room and so well appointed that it feels nice and cozy. Our son lives in Tucson and we didn't want to impose on him the whole 2 weeks we were there so we rented this place from JeanMarie and Kelly for 11 nights. You will find here everything you need for a great stay. Comfortable king bed, fully stocked kitchen, bathroom with great shower, washer and dryer, VERY private patio/sitting area so you can view the amazing sunsets, weber grill...really we couldn't think of a thing that was missing. The owners are available for what you need, so accommodating and pleasant to deal with. The pool/patio area and tennis/pickle ball court are yours to share with only 2 other guesthouses on the property. We never even saw the other people staying there. This is such a private and peaceful place yet all that you might need is very accessible...Whole Foods, other grocery stores, only minutes from Oro Valley and wonderful upscale mall (La Encantada). We give this a FIVE STAR and will definitely want to do this again if our son stays in Tucson. Thank you JeanMarie and Kelly for making our vacation just perfect.

  • Perfect location for hiking, shopping, restaurants

    5 of 5

I was looking for a quiet place with some views near outdoor activities but not too far from groceries, restaurants, shopping. The Foothills Ranch House in Casas Adobes looked promising so I booked it for two weeks and hoped for the best. Upon arrival I was thrilled to see that the room matched the beautiful photographs listed on HomeAway. In fact the room exceeded my expectations. The bed is very comfortable and there was lots of closet space. The kitchen works for breakfast and simple meals. There is a lovely patio attached that is very private. The pool area and tennis courts are a short walk away. The 5 acres provide a lovely natural desert landscape which ensures quiet and privacy but once you drive out onto W. Ina Road you are conveniently located near Trader Joe's, WalMart, many restaurants, a Barnes and Noble, the river trail and a straight shot to national and state parks. After a day of activities you return back to your oasis! Jean Marie and Kelly are wonderful hosts who want to ensure that all your needs are met. They are available at any time to answer questions or provide supplies. Besides their host duties they are very lovely people to know. I so enjoyed my visit to Tucson and hope to return to the Ranch House again next year.

  • Stay at ranchhouse

    5 of 5

Good location and quiet area. Not happy with the add-on charges: accident insurance and vrbo charge. These could be a deal breaker. Comfortable accommodations and many little extras.
