  • I had a great little apartment for a month while getting to know people in Prescott.

    5 of 5

It was a nice little apartment that was great for me for one month!!! It was quiet, clean, and had a nice parking lot! It gave me time to meet people here and I did find a place to stay after my stay here!!! I did miss not having an oven but otherwise it fit my needs!

  • Not Set UP for Long Rental

    2 of 5

The location was nice, it was quiet. The kitchen does not have proper cooking set up. if you plan to stay here and cook be prepared to bring stuff. there is only a few pans and a few cooking utensils. 1 knife. no cutting boards, etc. the bathroom came with 1/4 roll of tp. no papertowels, no napkins, no trash bags. the hot water seems to be shared bc it runs out fast. the place is NOT code compliant. the windows don't open, the exterior door is a standard interior house door so not secure. the light for the kitchen is in the hallway out side your unit. it was unmaintained and kind of dirty. my first day she gave me a non working gate opener so I parked in the lower parking and she called a tow truck, never even tried to contact me, just called to have my truck towed. also there is no living area, which I didn't notice, so its just the kitchen with 2 chairs and a bed. also the tv is terrible. only a few network channels

  • Accurate description - both comfortable and convenient

    4 of 5

Well-described. I was comfortable and found it easy to access all Prescott has to offer. Questions were answered promptly, and a requested extension of a day to my time was accommodated graciously. I recommend this property.

  • Perfect and affordable

    5 of 5

My wife and I stayed the month of September and the apartment worked out perfect for us. It was clean and quiet. Had more to offer than if we stayed in a motel. The owner was very helpful with all our questions and checked in to make sure everything was fine. Will definitely check in to renting here the next time we are in town.

  • Owner's needs vs renter's needs

    1 of 5

What started out as a nice peaceful, quiet vacation rental turned into a nightmare. Prior to booking the rental through VRBO, I spoke to the owner by phone to inquire as to whether I would get what I was seeking in a vacation rental (peace and quiet). Since the rental was described as a medical office converted into a one bedroom rental, I was concerned about the traffic. I was assured by the owner that I would get the peace and quiet I was seeking. It was required I pay through VRBO the 36 day rental rate and refundable damage deposit. Once I arrived, I had to contact the owner about a leaky shower onto the bathroom floor and a refrigerator that leaked onto the kitchen floor. The owner never sent anyone out to fix the issues, but instead asked me to wipe up the water so it would not damage the floors. In addition, the toilet would stop up. I asked if the owner had a plunger. The answer was no. Of course, for my own well being, I bought a plunger. The worst of it happened about two weeks into my 36 day stay. There was a lot of banging, hammering, sawing, drilling going on next door to my rental both day and evening. When I complained about the excessive noise, she told me she was converting another medical office to a two bedroom rental and wanted to finish it by July 1, so she could rent it out. I asked why the owner did not disclose this before I booked the room, even when I inquired about the peace and quiet. If the owner had disclosed the construction, I would never have rented the room (there went my peace and quiet). In fact, it was so disturbing that I had to leave the rental 10 days earlier than I had planned and paid. I told the owner that the room should never have been rented during construction. No one would pay to put up with this “vacation rental”. The owner had her own agenda and did not care about the affect the construction had on the renter (me). The owner is not willing to work with me on refunding the money I paid in advance for the 10 days when I was forced to leave early. The owner agreed to refund me the damage deposit; however, I have yet to see that either. I have tried to get VRBO involved to assist me in getting my refund, since they are the one’s who collected the money and then gave the owner the full amount, plus refundable damage deposit five days after I moved in. VRBO response is that it is between myself and the owner. I was left with no other alternative but to seek legal action. Renter BEWARE!
