  We have stayed with John’s several times as it’s close to our son’s home and our grandchildren. John is the perfect host and there is always a friendly welcome from Chloe, his lovely dog. The area is close to Himmel Park, shops and amenities with good bus connections to downtown Tucson and local attractions. John’s place has everything we need for a relaxing and carefree holiday He is so helpful and kind that we hope to spend many more visits here. It’s the perfect retreat from the demands of babysitting our three grandkids.

  My wife and I were in town for Labor Day weekend and the stay could not have been better. The guest house had everything we needed and was close to downtown and plenty of great restaurants. The pool is awesome. Plenty of privacy. We were unfamiliar with the area and John is a great host was able to make excellent recommendations for us. You will fall in love with the place and John’s awesome dog, Chloe. We highly recommend and will stay again on our next trip to TUCSON.

  Mr Goodman treats his rental in a very personal way from giving me a coupon for the local hardware to offering to loan me his tools (I was working on my daughters house). The room was very quite, the AC worked well and fridg, TV, linens, were top quality. But the best thing was the pool! We had it all to our selves for the whole trip. Great neighborhood. I would give it 5 stares.

  John, the owner, was helpful but not intrusive. Space had everything I needed...full kitchen, i.e. full sized fridge, stove, microwave, and cabinetry. Bed was comfy...I slept really well and often don't; bathroom was efficient...fabulous shower (wished for washcloths, but realize men don't often use them); Chloe, the dog, was friendly and loving; pool, though I didn't partake, was very inviting, sparkling and clean; space was safe (owner is very insistent on locking the entry gate). Altogether a place I would certainly recommend. The location is great too...easy access to the mountains north and the central business area.

  We were impressed with how accommodating the owner was, as well as knowledgable of the area for eating and entertainment. Very relaxing with nobody to bother you. His dog, Chloe, was very friendly and a joy to have around. I would return without hesitation.

  The space was a little cramped and had to keep our suitcases on the floor as the only area available for clothes were the drawers at the base of the bed. John kindly offered to put our suitcases in the laundry room which was a separate room outside of his house but we needed into our suitcases daily so that wasn’t convenient for us. The shower was well stocked with body wash, etc and he had nice towels. The space would be more intended for a short stay - we had 4 nights there. John was very helpful with good communication, assistance and follow up.

  IF you are searching for the absolutely perfect vacation home! LOOK NO FURTHER. WE have spent 2 of the most wonderful months vacationing here. The location was great, John the owner, treated us like family.And the house was immaculate with everything you need for a perfect place to stay. With the most comfortable bed and the largest shower. We will be making this our yearly vacation spot. OH, and Johns dog CHLOIE is the sweetest, lovable ,smiling face we saw every morning. We can,wait till next year.

  My wife and I just completed a five night stay in this wonderful guest house. The location is perfect for doing all sorts of things in Tucson and the surrounding area, but we were really impressed with how nice and helpful the owner of the property was, how quiet it was staying here, and how incredibly comfortable the bed was. Also, the owner's dog, shown in this picture, is so friendly that she made us feel welcome whenever we saw her. This is a great rental property for two people and we will definitely stay here again.

  This is our third stay at John's guest accomodation and it offers us the perfect place to relax in clean, secure, comfortable and private accommodaton with a fantastic owner and his dog, Chloie, who is adorable. The house is situated conveniently for shops, amenities and our family who live close by. It is a great escape from three young grandchildren and a place to chill out in the evenings, sitting by the pool with a glass of wine and enjoying the company of our host from time to time. John is very helpful and attentive to the needs of his guests and we thank him once.more and hope to see both him and Chloie in the future. June and Chris Wilson

  Convenient location to Tucson attractions. Quiet area. The host, John, was easy to communicate with before our visit to arrange arrival times. He was available for questions about getting around and he checked in with us after our first night to ensure everything was ok. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

  We've now stayed with John multiple times and each time is an entirely satisfactory visit. John is always there when you need him, but never too intrusive. Chloie, his dog, is a real bonus: she's friendly, gentle and well-trained. The property is impeccably tidy, well-maintained and stocked with everything you need begin a stay in Tucson. We are looking forward to many returns!

  We were in town for a brief stay and chose this home based on the reviews and the price. It worked out great and was "as advertised" . The space was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed and could use. We enjoyed the location close to the campus of U of A and ease of getting around town from the home. We also enjoyed the evenings and morning sitting by the pool and relaxing. John was an excellent host and happy to help with any questions we had. All in all a very good experience and very comfortable property.

  This is my second time at this property, and it continues to provide a practical and comfortable home base when I am in Tucson on business. While it definitely avails itself of one and two night stays, it is also very comfortable for extended trips. My first year I spent 14 days and my second year I spend 12 days.... very comfortably! Fridge, stove, oven, big tv and large shower are just some of the conveniences. Host is attentive and consistent, property feels very safe, and the resident dog is a simply a love and joy.

  This property had everything we needed for our stay...a comfy bed, well equipped kitchen area, TV, powerful shower and a beautiful outside space with pool and seating area. It was spotlessly clean and felt homely. Situated in the Sam Hughes district, we felt safe and secure in a peaceful neighbourhood. It was close to our son's home and a great retreat from the daily chores of caring for our young grandchildren! John is a wonderful host, helpful, kind and respectful of his guests' privacy. We will definitely be booking this property again and would recommend it highly. June and Chris
