Great property and location. Appreciated the cleanliness and all the amenities. Would suggest adding info. for future guests: recycling is available behind Clarks grocery store. It is not separated by the garbage service. Thanks

I know it was out of Laura's control but we had problems with the cable TV and AC. Fortunately the weather was cool at night and we had our streaming device so we soldiered on.. The condo itself was perfect! The view and location was great! Everything you need is there and we enjoyed the pool on a few warmer days. If not for the glitches mentioned above it would definitely be a 5 star experience. Sedona was beautiful and the hiking was perfect. Thanks, Laura, for sharing your condo with us...we had a wonderful vacation!

This property is in a preferred location for me. Sedona proper has heavy traffic. There are some nice restaurants in the Oak reek area and some of the Sedona restaurants along 179 are easily accessible. There are so many good hikes in this area you can be busy for many days, enjoying this breath taking scenery. I would stay here again if revisiting this area.

5.0   -   Perfect Stay In Sedona
Reviewed on Apr 18, 2019
We spend two weeks in Sedona at this beautiful condo. It was quiet, clean and well supplied with all essentials. We found the restaurants to be expensive and generally poor in quality so it was great to come home and cook a healthy dinner after a day of hiking. The condo is about five miles from Sedona so you can avoid the heavy traffic jams. The next time I am in Sedona I would definitely book this again.

We loved the condo. It was very clean and perfect for our stay. We liked that our stay was in the Village of Oak Creek and not Sedona. Sedona can get a little busy/congested. We hiked everyday and had easy access to all the trails, shopping, church and restaurants. We also did a lot of our own meal preps. Whoever ordered the great weather during our stay. A huge thank you!!

The condo was exactly as described. It was very clean and comfortable. Everything that we could have possibly needed was available. It is a great location with stores, restaurants and hiking trails in close proximity. Short ride to downtown Sedona. Laura was very helpful and accessible for any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this place for your stay in beautiful Sedona.

Condo was in a good location with lovely views. Laura was wonderful to work with. Condo was so well equipped and extremely clean - which was very important to us, especially since Laura sometimes allows pets. Everything worked, everything was comfortable. Laura left detailed instructions on everything in the condo and the surrounding area. It is small and don't know if it would be comfortable for more than 2 people, but the size is perfect for a couple. I highly recommend it!

5.0   -   This is a perfect place in the Sedona area

We had a wonderful stay at the Red Rock Sanctuary for the month of April, 2018. It is located within walking distance of shops/restaurants/galleries in the Village of Oak Creek, which is just a few miles from Sedona. (The Village is the gateway to the red rocks and does not have the choking traffic that often surrounds Sedona). It is centrally located and convenient when taking day trips to Jerome, Flagstaff, and area historic sites. It is also a good starting point for many area hikes. The condo itself is comfortable and well cared for. We enjoyed the views from the balcony and bedroom, public areas for outdoor reading, eating and complementary laundry. There are also grills available. The owner, Laura Nelson, is easy to work with and was very quick to respond when we had a few questions. We had outstanding meals at Elote, Cucina Rustica, and Red Chopsticks. Local hangout PJ's is a fun place and has a very reasonable happy hour menu. We also went to the Grashopper Grill in Cornville for some good food and live music. Our favorite hikes were Doe Mtn, Fay's Canyon, Scorpian/Pyramid, Mt Schuerman for sunset, Jordan/ Cibola Pass, Upper Chimney... and many more. An interesting, sacred place is the Buddist Stupa. All around it was a great experience and we hope to return. Thank you Laura!

5.0   -   Quiet condo with good view of red rocks
Reviewed on Apr 14, 2018
This second floor condo did have a good view of the red rocks of Sedona. Exactly as advertised. It was two blocks off the major road into Sedona. Easy access with right turn to head into the heart of Sedona past the most notable formations of Bell Rock and Cathedral Rock and the Chapel of the Holy Cross. Or a left turn out to the wineries along Page Springs Road. We visited Red Rock State Park and Deadhorse State Park for their well maintained trails and views of birds and wildlife. In particular we enjoyed the herons at Deadhorse State Park and the hummingbird patior at Red Rock State Park. The condo was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was very well stocked with cookware including multiple cutting boards and knives. We enjoyed taking the folding chairs out on the balcony to watch the sun set on the rocks. There were a couple of patio areas for the complex but the view of the rocks was best from the balcony just outside the condo door. The owner was very helpful with helping locate a hotel for a sister-in-law. She was easy to communicate with and available for questions during our stay.

This was a nice place to stay and fit our needs for the week. Since there is so much to do, we didn't spend much time in the condo but it was nice to come back to after our adventures. Close enough to walk to several coffee shops, subway, wendy's or the gas station. We would stay here again if we visit Sedona in the future.

5.0   -   Pristine; comfortable; anticipated every need for hiking day trips and regrouping!
Reviewed on Oct 14, 2017
For about the same price as an inexpensive motel in the area, we had all of the comforts of home. The kitchen included plenty of cookware and dishes and things you don't expect like condiments and foil! Like previous guests, we bought groceries and contributed leftover ziploc bags, coffee and such for the benefit of the next guests. Next time we come we have to bring some Tony's from New Orleans for spiciness! The TV was easy to figure out; the guest parking pass saved us money at the hiking trails. The view REALLY is as spectacular from the condo as anywhere -- and we were there during a FULL MOON. It could not have been more simple and gracious. We definitely stay here again and recommend Laura's place to our friends.

The condo was clean, well equipped with many necessities and luxuries. It was nice to have the kitchen stocked with general staples and condiments. We enjoyed daily outtings and the cooler and chaise chairs were great to have access to. The shower was always hot and a generous supply of towels (all sizes) available. The laundry facilities were modern working well with no fee. The place was centrally located with many hikes, restaraunts and shopping in walking distance. We took advantage of the Red Rock pass visiting many gorgeous trails and hikes. No doubt we'll be back here in the future.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Red Rock Sanctuary. Its in the Village of Oak Creek, away from the bustle of Sedona, but only a short, very beautiful 10-15 minute drive away. The unit is the right size for two people, cozy and comfortable, and nicely stocked. Laura was very responsive to any questions prior to our trip and told me to contact her with any questions during our stay ( tho I didn't have to). Our only negative comment would be the pool.....could have been cleaner....a lot of debris at the bottom, tho it was windy so maybe that played into it. We like to eat breakfast in, packed lunches for our journeys out, and though we don't like to eat out much, we did go out for most of our dinners, both in the Village and in Sedona. Most of the stores in the outlets were empty, but there was a neat art and craft show by the outlets on Friday and Saturday of our stay. Laura provides a Red Rock Pass, needed to park at the trails and we hiked several of the them which are very close by and we highly recommend the Bell Rock Pathway which leads you up to Bell Rock where you can actually climb quite high if you so desire. We did a day trip to the Grand Canyon, about 2 1/4 hours away and enjoyed the beautiful scenery there, went to Cameron to the trading post and had dinner there, and enjoyed a light show, courtesy of Mother Nature on the way home (lightening). Highly recommend the town of Jerome, about 45 minute drive, which has many cool shops and restaurants. We ate at The Grapes....awesome meal, specials every day. Oh, and if you like to see stars?.....WOW!!! A really nice stay, and would stay here again.

We stayed the month of Feb. 2017. The condo is perfect for 2 people. Nice and cozy and clean with all the amenities you will need for your stay. The location in Oak Creek village, just south of Sedona by 6 miles or so, is actually preferable to being right in town in Sedona. The view from the condo is beautiful. If you like to hike, this is the place for you. We hiked almost daily, and never on the same trail twice. Laura, the owner, was great and provided all the info you will need. We hope to come back again in the fiture.
