5.0   -   Perfect location for elopement

If I could give Jerry/this property more than 5 stars I would. We came out for our wedding ceremony and found this gem of a property to stay for the week. The location is perfect! We walked downtown to restaurants and the Sedona Beer Company (a must try brewery) and yet the distance was far enough you could sit on the porch and feel as though there was no one except you enjoying the nature of Sedona. The birds and coyotes kept us company. In fact, our friends who are birders could not believe the proliferation of our feathered friends coming through and flitting around the backyard. After the first time they stopped by, brought their binoculars each other time to enjoy the bounty! Also, it´s the small touches that made this a welcoming respite from the whirlwind of the wedding and hiking. The hot tub was perfect, the provided robes were thick and cozy, the automatic blinds that opened onto the expansive view of the back patio and yard, the welcome basket, the night/flashlights in the bathroom that assisted us in heading down to the hot tub in the evening, and the ease of checking-in and out all added to this being a location I want to visit again in the near future. My thanks to Jerry for exceeding expectations, thank you!

We had a wonderful time at Jerry's beautiful home! Everything was so close by - we came to hike, and there were fantastic hiking trails right in our backyard. Very comfortable home, and lovely back deck which we used every day. Loved being able to just walk to uptown for dinner, shopping, etc. Highly recommend, and Jerry is a great host!!

Had a great stay in the Sedona area. So many things to do and see! The villa is very comfortable, well organized with everything labeled and in working order. Jerry was very helpful and communicates everything you need to know about the property and area.

We were thrilled with our stay. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. The land is so private that you forget you are only a ten minute walk to town. We would sit on the deck in the evening and watch the Javelinas, deer and coyotes in the backyard- it was amazing! Jerry, the owner, was wonderful! He immediately responded to anything we needed. We were also greeted to a cute gift basket upon our arrival. It was great being so close to town so that we could leave the car and avoid the traffic. If we return to Sedona one day, I wouldn´t want to stay anywhere else!

My mom, my Aunt and I stayed at Jerry's rental for a week last November. We loved the interior of the home. We loved looking at the art work on the walls, the homey feel and especially the private location just outside of Uptown Sedona. The house was very clean and had everything we needed; the hot tub was especially nice. One of my favorite things to do to start my day was to take a nice relaxing dip in the tub and another one just before bed. We did see wildlife in the yard, a coyote standing on the rock howling at the moon. It was spectacular. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals. The location was great. Perfect for day-trips to the Grand Canyon and Jerome. When I had trouble with the TV I texted Jerry and he responded right away and helped me fix the problem. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would definitely book this home again. We are looking forward to returning soon!!

This was a couples vacation and we all had a great time. The house was perfect. You could not beat the location - walking distance to town but felt private. We were late getting in the first day and Jerry was there getting set to turn on the lights so we wouldn´t have to arrive in the dark! The house itself was clean and had everything we needed - even a welcome basket that included shampoo and conditioner. The hot tub was awesome and there were even Robes to use. I really felt that Jerry cared about making sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for sharing your home in beautiful Sedona with us.

A very nice and comfortable house with a perfect location to maximize the enjoyment of beautiful Sedona - we are very glad we found it. When we arrived a little early, we found the owner Jerry and a "wireless" tech at the house installing some new equipment. Jerry ensured we were connected then and there, and all worked perfectly throughout our stay. The house is great, especially with the very comfortable Sleep # Bed - that bed has prompted us to shop for one ourselves. The deck, the living room with a great book and reference section, the warm decor - it was simply a great stay, feeling like a home away from home. We also were greeted one day by a small herd of Javalinas, including a couple of babies - very cool. When we return, this will be our choice again.

A week in Jerry's house within walking distance of uptown Sedona, and minutes from everything else, permitted Diane and I to imagine what it would be like to actually live in Sedona. The house has everything you could possibly want inside, all immaculate, and words cannot describe the expansive, ever so private, inspiring beauty of the grounds. This is the place to stay!

Start your day watching the sun rise over the red rock. Relax on the deck and savor the quiet energy of the property. Meals are easily done in the well equipped kitchen! Now your hardest decisions will be to hike, and what trails to take, or shop for original artwork, or handmade jewlery, or do you stay in and enjoy the Javalinas the come to welcome you. We did all of these and as always....Sedona never disappoints. And now, we will add the Jordan Guesthouse as our favorite property to stay!

5.0   -   Perfect secluded getaway in Sedona

Had a perfect week in Sedona based out of this awesome location. Location was perfect as we could walk to town and the trails every day. The setting was on an acre of quiet space bordered by a wash. Nestled in the trees, you could see the surrounding mountains from the decks. It also made for fun watching various animals come through at dusk or dawn. We saw javelina, deer and a few coyotes. All doing their thing as we sat on up on the deck and watched. The trails near by are spectacular. We hiked them all. The best part was these are relatively unknown, so most often we saw very few people. Jerry was awesome to work with and quickly responded to any questions. He had several good suggestions and ideas for us during our stay. The house was quiet and perfect for what we wanted in our stay. It was ~10 min to Safeway, Basha's and Whole Foods. Had all the utensils and amenities we needed. We will definitely be back if we can get a week. I honestly feel there was something magical about the location and setting... this was a perfect vacation getaway.

4.0   -   Nice property but limited views

The home was well kept (except a toaster needing to be replaced). The owner was responsive, but then we didn't need anything. The hot tub is nice, but not convenient (you have to walk down the stairs and half way around the house to get to it, in the dark). Most important to us is having a good view of the mountains, but there is almost no view from inside the house except at the end where the deck is located). We liked that the property is close to a couple of trails and walking around the area is very nice.

5.0   -   Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Sedona!

Let me start with the sponge, yes, a sponge. There was a brand new one in its wrapper next to the kitchen sink. This told me everything about the cleanliness of the home and attention to detail. The view surpasses expectations from the pictures. The backyard IS the Coconino National Forest. I can't believe we did not pay extra for the wild pigs and the coyote in the yard! All the amenities of town were 4 city blocks away walking. This property is so unique because you feel like you are in nature and away from it all but for a city gal like me, you can walk to shopping and restaurants and leave the car behind. The home has everything you need to feel connected (tons of TV channels and premium TV as well as WIFI), a full kitchen with all cooking implements, but the best part is how you feel connected to nature. You want to ignore TV and WiFi and sit on the deck to look at the immense starry sky or watch the sunset over the red rocks. Nothing can beat soaking in a hot tub while wild pigs (javelinas, technically, but they look like pigs) root through the yard grunting and foraging. That the Sedona Guest House is dog friendly is a huge plus. There is a fenced dog run with a fence high enough to contain our two Akitas. When you see how beautiful the inside is, it is shocking that pets are allowed! We actually rolled up all the area rugs so our dogs wouldn't fur them up! There is unique artwork, interesting reading on the bookshelves . . . So many thoughtful details. Also, there were clear labels for all lighting and motorized shades as well as electronics. I could go on but it makes me sad I'm still not there. My husband and I, and our two dogs, would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you Jerry for allowing us this piece of paradise. Oh, let me not forget to say that Jerry is incredibly helpful and as hands on or off as you could ask for. I'm now regretting my review because it may make it harder to book here again!

This home is absolutely amazing. It has a gorgeous setting with lots of wildlife. One day 2 big bucks were right behind the deck and the next day a Javalina came to visit. Super fun. The house is super cozy and comfortable for any time of year. I highly recommend staying here. It is super close to town, (walking distance), very private and the perfect location for a Sedona getaway. It has everything anyone would need. Definitely a 5 star rating from me.

Home had everything we needed and then some. Owner stayed in touch and was very helpful. Location was great, very peaceful and secluded but close to town. Would love to go back when there is water is the creek. I'm sure there would be more wildlife but we did spot a family of coyotes at the back of the yard. View of mountains was awesome. Highly recommend this home!

Jerry was very helpful and responsive. The house had a gift basket and clear rental instructions including WiFi password. When I asked Jerry for suggestions about dinner, he was quick to respond with suggestions for a place with good burgers and an expansive view. Jerry is experienced and committed to ensuring his renters have a great experience. The home was perfect. The location is hard to beat: walking distance to town and to several trailheads. The view from the deck is stunning. The large, private yard felt indulgent. The house is well appointed and updated. The rooms are spacious. The living room was a lovely place to chill and watch TV. The beds were comfy. No problems with the bathroom or kitchen. The washer and dryer were handy. The hot tub was great. Overall an ideal experience. Couldn't ask for more even at a higher price point. Families should be mindful that there is only one bathroom, but it is roomy, stocked, and suited our needs just fine. I can't wait to return to beautiful Sedona. When I do, I'll definitely make sure this place is available.
