  • Comfortable home, good location

    4 of 5

This is not a resort property, but it is comfortable and well located. Angelo, the owner, was super easy to work with and took care of all our needs. The fully fenced back yard was perfect for our dog. The neighborhood is older, but lots of rebuilding going on all around with many good restaurants and bars close by. Nice quiet street, secure feel, well appointed.

  • Great location, comfortable house

    5 of 5

The location is perfect- close to lots of restaurants and shopping and a quick drive to downtown. It is an older home, so don't expect it to be right out of Architectural Digest, but it is comfortable and has a large fenced yard, making it a great place to come with my dogs. I would definitely stay here again.

  • Great place, location, and owner

    5 of 5

We had a great time in Phoenix staying here. The house was very clean, in a quiet, safe neighborhood, within close walking distance to restaurants and bars. The owner Angelo couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. Instructions were clear on how to get in and he even let us check in early. I would recommend staying here anytime. The price was great too. Perfect size house for 3 of us but sleeps 6 if you needed to.

Owner said he will message me to let me know I was ok to check in, he never did, he told me this because he said he was trying to get home cleaned. The home appeared ok from the outside front area, opened the door, you’re hit with overwhelming dirty bleach water smell, had to air out home, checked the rooms, bedroom with 1 bed was not cleaned properly, the sheets had long strands of hair and lint the color of nothing on the bed which can mean the bedding was not cleaned or switched out. There was a large dead bug behind the nightstand along with dirt build up. Bedroom two with 2 beds was similar to 1 bed room. Backyard was not taken care of, insects crawling around need extermination, black widow under grill handle. I sent message to owner if the bedding can be switched out, he couldn’t be bothered to make that change, even when he claims he lives right near by. Needless to say there was nothing done. When night came, I set the temperature to heating at 73 degrees, no heat, I decided to google how to use this Honeywell thermostat and the solution to override the preset daily temps was to place it on “Hold” In order to activate the HEAT, but still no HEAT, I decided to leave the “Hold” setting on for a long period of time, over 3 hours, still no heat. When there was initially no heat I messaged the owner and I did not hear from him till the next morning. The temperature was uncomfortably in 50’s all night inside and there wasn’t any additional blankets to compensate for cold temps so I literally had no sleep that night. Lord and behold, the heat finally kicks on after sun comes up, owner said he was going to fix later in day. I leave for the day to run errands, and when I returned I decided to cook but I had to clean the stove first as it was filthy from no cleaning. And to top off the last night (thankfully), the internet stopped working, and guess what, the television programming works off the internet, so no TV or visual entertainment for the rest of the stay. Washer and dryer need to be changed out, all sorts of dirty build up in washer might have bacterial build up.
