Enjoyed our stay here. Cottage was clean and cozy. Also very quiet! A nice walk to Tucson Botanical Garden as well.

  • Nice little place but.......

    3 of 5

This is a nicely redone little place that is pleasant but located in a sort of sketchy area of Tucson (thus the high iron fence and gates surrounding the unit). It is close to the Botanical Garden which is wonderful but I would not feel comfortable walking there by myself. If you need to be in that area of Tucson this would be a good place to stay but it is definitely not near some of the beautiful things to see and do in Tucson. The inside of this unit is very nice. Just a little sort of efficiency food prep area but separate living room, dining room, bedroom and bathroom with w/d and lots of ironing and cleaning equipment (if you have a desire to do such things!). Better lighting would be a plus as it is hard to see or read at night in the living room or bedroom. Some adult refreshments provided. Maneuvering all the gates to get your car and yourself in and out takes some doing! Never saw the owners.

  • Very good value, very spacious cottage

    4 of 5

We spent three weeks in this very comfortable cottage! Because the weather was so bad in Tucson while we were there, we spent more time in the cottage than planned, but the accommodations were very adequate, and Nick was very responsive to our questions.

  • Enjoyable stay in the Tucson Garden District.

    4 of 5

Everything is exactly as it looks in the pictures of the cottage. The Garden Distict is an friendly neighborhood, and our early morning walks piqued our interest in the many different kinds of cactus and succulent plants of the area. We walked to the Tucson Botanical Gardens, just a few blocks away, which is a must see if you are interested in plants and the out-of-doors! The one downside of our stay was the lighting in the cottage. It definitely needs additional lighting in order to read! Nick was very attentive to our needs and was just a phone call away for questions.

  • Warm and charming

    4 of 5

Nick was readily available on the VBRO app for welcoming us to his warm and charming casita. It was perfectly suitable with a great layout, comfortable furniture and warm decor for the two of us! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return as it was also conveniently located for our day trips around the Tucson area and minimal Lyft expenses to & from downtown. Trader Joe's, Walgreen's and Sentinel Brewery were all nearby for a decent walk or short car ride. We appreciated the toaster, microwave and coffee for sure! It wouldn't be a vacation without minor inconveniences/memories: In this case, stepping on goathorn prickers constantly until we swept the two hardwood floors (disappointedly dirty with a full dustpan load of debris--but glad the broom was available!)...we still stepped on several more that were on the carpets. On the last morning we had to scrape frost off the car to go get toilet paper. I recommend it as a good place to stay. :-)

  • Cozy and comfortable bungalow

    5 of 5

This was a truly delightful bungalow or cottage for our two day stay in Tucson over the Memorial Day weekend. Quite and peaceful. We were welcomed by wonderful music playing and great ambiance lighting. The décor is splendid. The owner did such a great job of adding some Tucson flair to the living room and dining room. The bed was comfy and the shower was nicely finished. Parking was very private too. We will definitely stay here again if we visit the Tucson area. You should too.

  • A great stay.

    5 of 5

We liked the location and convenience of being central to everything in Tucson. The place is perfect size for a couple and has just the right amount of amenities at a great value. The host has put a great deal of time and effort into making this a comfortable place to stay. Absolutely stay here again!
