Our stay was truly amazing. The property was beautiful. The owners were very nice and easy to work with. We would love to stay there again.

We were so pleased with the accommodations and especially loved watching the sun come up every morning over the mountains while sitting on the pool deck. Views are amazing! The size of the home was perfect for our family of 4. Home is well maintained and nicely decorated. Updated kitchen and bathrooms. Master bath is particularly nice. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and the personal care items provided. We enjoyed using the hot tub a few times. Unheated pool too chilly to use just yet. . It was tricky for us finding the house as we arrived at night. Tip: look for the house numbers on the mailbox. Overall it is such a wonderful place to stay and we were sad to leave.

What a lovely house with fabulous view. Great for morning coffee by the pool waiting for the sun to come up over the mountains and for informal entertaining with family and friends. There was nothing we needed in the kitchen in order to cook some wonderful dinners. Private and quiet, but near enough to hiking and sight seeing with a car. Only warning..don't try the steep driveway in the dark the first time...it's not as bad as it looks and easy to get used to. Stayed only a week. Would have loved a month there.

House was well stocked with everything you need and more. Layout was great with the master on one side of the house and two bedrooms on the other side. Great living room with cable tv and a cozy fire place. Another front room to work at the computer, eat, lounge or play cards. House situated in such a way that one enjoys the quintessential views of the Tucson sunrise and mountains lightly dusted with snow during the winter. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything you need to cook and meal prep. Nice flow throughout. We loved being away from the hustle and bustle of the more crowded Tucson city center and outskirts. Not too far of a drive to Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Sprouts and a fabulous gluten free bakery in Casas Adobes and other eateries and shops. One thing to keep in mind, it cost $20 to discard the trash at the refuse place down the road on Hwy 77, so we opted to take it with us and deposited the trash and recycling for free at a waste management center along the road going north on Hwy 77 to our next destination.

5.0   -   Very Nice House in a Great Location with a Beautiful View

My husband and I stayed at this Hilltop Oasis from Jan 22-28, 2019. We were in town because my husband was running the local 50 mile race and wanted a place in town but not too far from Oracle. This place was perfect for our stay. It was plenty big for the two of us and would also fit six people comfortably. The master bedroom was spacious and had a walk-in closet and plenty of room for our stuff. The other two rooms were nice also, but we didn't need them, so I can't say much about them other than they looked fine. We knew the pool would be cold in January, so we weren't upset or anything when we weren't able to go in it. We could have, but that would have been dumb. I bet it's perfect in the summer months, and I assume that's what it's for. My husband used the hot tub after his race and he really enjoyed it. We also made use of the little putting green. We made it into a competition and had a lot of fun. The driveway was a little hard to find when we first arrived in the dark, but once we found it, we never had another issue. You jut have to pay attention. The view from the backyard was so nice, you could sit outside and stare at it all day. And if you are thinking about renting this house but don't want to take your trash with you, it wasn't that big of a deal. I wouldn't let that stop me from staying in such a nice place. The wifi is a little spotty, and wasn't the best for streaming videos. If you plan on just emailing or texting or using the internet, then it worked fine. My husband worked remotely most days we were there and he was able to get things done. One more thing, you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, but five minutes down the road there's a grocery store, gas station, Subway, pizza, Starbucks, etc. It's also about a 10 minute drive to Catalina State Park, where we went for a hike almost every day, and it was very pretty. (Be sure to have cash, it costs $7 to park, and they only take cash, just fyi). I would recommend staying here, you feel like you are on top of the world. Thanks for such a great stay! Erica

The hilltop oasis was a beautiful place to stay. It's very private and quiet, except for the sounds of wildlife. We loved the bobcat (who also had kittens). The kitchen has very good appliances and is well stocked with everything you need to cook and eat with. The living room is very comfortable, bedrooms and bathrooms very nice, master on one side of the house and other bathroom and two bedrooms on the other side. The pool, hot tub and yard are also wonderful. It's perfect for a family gathering, and close to Saddlebrook where we visited relatives.

We had a great time at this rental. Stayed for a long weekend to visit my daughter who goes to the UofA. The house was pretty comfortable for the whole family, and we all especially enjoyed the outdoor amenities. The porch was so nice with a great view of the mountains and good privacy. The hot tub was really nice too. If it hadn't been cold and raining, we would have enjoyed the pool too. The house was nice, and the property landscaping and outdoor options were even nicer. It also surprised us how much shopping was in the area. The Biosphere nearby was cool too.
