  • Would be happy to stay there again

    5 of 5

We really enjoyed this little flat in a quiet neighborhood. The floors are heated, the bed is comfy but squeaky, and the appliances all work well. The rooms were clean, and the shower and dishwasher were stocked with soap. We did not find any laundry detergent, however, so you may want to bring your own! The unit is down some outside stairs, and our stay was snowy -- this may make the room a little difficult to access for some. The flat is well-located -- just a short drive to most in-town interests! You can also walk to Flagstaff's Catholic Parish Center - San Francisco de Asis Catholic Parish, at 1600 E Route 66. Thanks, Dan, for a nice stay!

  • Nice apartment

    5 of 5

Positives: This was a clean spacious one-bedroom apartment which included a bathroom, kitchen and living room. It is the lower level of a house. The bedroom has one full-sized bed and the living room a fold out couch. Flagstaff is a great place to visit. The house is a short distance to a network of running trails, including the Arizona Trail. There are full sized appliances and a washer and dryer. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and anything that you would need to cook and included coffee. It is quiet and pleasant. Negatives: Some of the bedding was fairly old and the bed is just a full size bed (cramped for a couple). The apartment could probably do with a bit of sprucing up. The stairs down to the apartment were steep. The apartment is located a few miles north of downtown, so you will likely need to drive to most of the restaurants and attractions (road construction complicates the trip). There are a lot of electrical switches in the apartment and we figured out what they did via trial and error (labels could help). It was starting to get cold when we arrived and we think the heat had not been turned on as yet.

  • Very nice, clean, convenient

    5 of 5

This was a very comfortable place. The bed was super comfy. Dan was very helpful and prompt to answer any questions we had. I just wish it had a deck to sit on to enjoy the beautiful weather and surroundings. The stairs were also a little much for this old body!

  • Great place for a Flagstaff visit

    5 of 5

This was a very nice apartment for our stay in Flagstaff. My son and I were visiting to attend orientation at NAU. It was conveniently located close to campus. The cost per night was very reasonable compared to other places, with much less extra service charges that you see added on to other rentals. The owner Dan was a good host.

  • Quite cozy

    5 of 5

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this VRBO. Perfect size for two people. The kitchen had what we needed too. We definitely got our workout going up and down the outside stairs to our car so if you don’t like stairs you won’t like this. We didn’t mind. Warmed us up for our bike rides. No tv but we enjoyed the break. The one and only down side was there was no drain stopper in the bathroom sink. I dropped an earring and it rocketed down the drain so fast I couldn’t catch it. Put your jewelry elsewhere.

  • Flagstaff Getaway

    5 of 5

Dan was easy to deal with and gave great communication. The apartment was well located and well stocked with the necessities other than no TV in the apartment. Looking back at the property amenities, nowhere did it indicate it had a TV so it was not misleading in any way. It's just that in today's world I think we all expect a TV in every place we stay. Would just have been a good thing to understand before purchasing. With that said, I would stay there again because everything else was wonderful.

Very nice and clean. Kitchen could use some better pots and pans but other than that we would recommend it

  • Great Location

    5 of 5

Loved our stay here. Dan is a great host! The location is great, all the views were amazing, close to everything. We were attending a wedding and it was 10 mins from there. The place was clean, we appreciated the clean utensils and it had everything we needed. Definitely recommend, would love to stay here again next time in Flagstaff.

  • Would stay here again

I had a big family event in Flagstaff this past weekend, and booked this suite for two nights. I loved how quiet it was. We were far enough away from downtown Flagstaff so that we didn't hear the goings-on there. We couldn't even hear the trains that frequently come through town, which was great. The building sits on a hill, with a pleasant view of trees and other greenery. The suite is very clean and well-stocked with coffee & tea, linens & towels, and bathroom items. No TV though.

  • We found the property to be clean, quiet, efficient in layout and easy to find.

We stayed just two nights; we left very early after the second night to drive to start our hike to Phantom Ranch on the floor of the Grand Canyon. The location suited our needs and having wifi was very helpful. It had snowed heavily earlier in the week. the parking pad was shoveled enough to allow parking and the snow on the steps was packed down.

  • The apartment was a comfortable home base for our Flagstaff adventure.

    5 of 5

Dan was good about checking in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. There were several thoughtful touches that made our stay a little more enjoyable; a binder with restaurant suggestions, water bottles in the fridge, and a jar of travel shampoos and such in the bathroom. The only thing I would add is a large skillet and pot for our meal preparations.
