We had a great stay in this cabin right on Tonto creek. The kids loved the games available at the cabin and had a tons of fun playing in the creek. They really enjoyed catching crawfish and also seeing the wildlife that was abundant along the creek. It was a short drive to Woods Canyon lake where we all were able to kayak and fish for a few hours. The 20 min drive from Payson was convenience for any items we forgot to bring. The on site firewood was a nice bonus as we really enjoyed the campfires during the chilly, but refreshing, nights. We definitely recommend and will be back.

I am having difficulty writing this review, as I hope to return to this vacation spot. Once the news gets out there as to how nice this place is, I might have a difficult time booking a stay. This is set in a beautiful setting near lakes, streams and rivers. The two days my family stayed there it rained. My husband and I ignored the rain, and braved some hikes and fishing. The others stayed back, played game, watched sports and ate a ton. We had ever amenity that you could have. The beds were wonderful. Spent time out on the deck where we could enjoy the rain under a dry roof. Cannot wait to return.

This is a fantastic cabin! There is a creek running right behind that kept the kids happy for hours. The forest it backs up to gave us wonderful views and some visitors, elk, deer, rabbits, and squirrels. There is plenty of room inside to spread out. The kitchen has all the pots, pans, bowls, etc, you need. They have really thought of everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The location is great, 17 miles out of Payson, close to lakes. We caught several fish, and some were caught in Tonto Creek, just up from the cabin. We really had a fun and memorable time.

Stayed at the Manning cabin for Mother´s Day weekend with our kids and (grand)parents. So much space for everyone, well-stocked kitchen, outdoor space that overlooks Tonto Creek, hiking to a waterfall, or just relaxing as a family with a movie. (Great movie/appletv setup). You do have to haul trash out like camping but that´s the whole area. Pictures do not do this cabin justice on how much space there is! We will be back for sure! Thanks Aaron!

Wow! This is a beautiful cabin, inside and out! The pictures and descriptions given by the owners don´t do it justice - know that it´s way better in person! I´ll definitely stay here again and will not hesitate to recommend the cabin or it´s owners - top notch all the way!

The cabin was perfect for our weekend with friends. We were very comfortable and enjoyed it a lot. The cabin was spacious, clean and very pretty. Would definitely stay again!

My family enjoyed Thanksgiving away at Aaron's home and had a wonderful time! The house has everything you could possibly need for a weekend (or longer) away. We spent most of our time outside on the deck or by the creek enjoying the peacefulness. Thank you so much for your hospitality Aaron!

We celebrated my son´s 9th birthday at this cabin with family and friends. It was so much more than we expected! The kids are STILL calling it a mansion! Ha ha. There was nothing needed that was not there & no instruction or detail left out! Cabin backs the creek, we hiked to a beautiful waterfall and got great pictures! The owners were quickly responsive the few times I contacted them (they truly leave you with all of the information you need)! I absolutely hope to stay here again soon in the near future! Thank you for the hospitality!!

This cabin was definitely one of the best homes we've rented in northern Arizona. It's an excellent place for getting together with family....spacious and airy for being all together but still with some privacy. It is a cozy, peaceful place situated among the tall pines and we all felt very at home with plenty of space to hang out and relax. It was nice to be able to cook in a well-stocked, spacious kitchen with lots of pots, pans and utensils. The owner Aaron was great and was there for anything we needed. He also checked in with us to make sure we had a good stay. Double thumbs up on this one!

The place is in a lovely, peaceful setting, is extremely comfortable, and is very well equipped kitchen-wise and in every other way. If you just sit on the back porch listening to the creek and watch hawks and such, you'll have a great time, and there are wonderful walks nearby. Aaron is a terrific host--very easy to get in touch with, very responsive, very courteous, and very helpful.

The Manning Cabin was perfect for our family of 11 including a baby, and 3 kids. There was plenty to do in and around the cabin for everyone. The kids loved playing in the creek right outside the backyard and even found a swimming hole about half a mile downstream of the cabin, not to mention the air hockey and ping pong tables. The adults enjoyed lounging in the back patio deck overlooking the creek. The cabin has everything you could think of for a comfortable and fun stay. We look forward to the next time!

Beautiful weather, lovely cabin with lots of things to do. Creek is right there and hiking trails are nearby. Well thought out, everything you need. Wonderful instructions for running the various appliances. Easy check out.

We rented the cabin for a family reunion weekend, 5 siblings traveling from all over the country. Each couple that arrived was blown away at how beautiful the house was, the pictures really do not do it justice!! The home was immaculately clean, had all the comforts of home, plenty of space for everyone to stretch out, comfortable beds, and all the amenities you could ever need. The property was just stunning. Some of us early birds would get up and enjoy coffee on the beautiful deck, then move down to the creek in the afternoon, and by evening we were grilling and enjoying the hot tub together. There was plenty to do to keep everyone entertained, such as hiking, board games, ping pong, and the creek. One of our favorite things was the horseback riding out of Kohl's Creek Stables, it was less than 5 minutes away and the ride to the local waterfall was stunning! Aaron (the owner) was very responsive before and during our trip. Anything we needed or had a question about, he was a phone call or text away and happy to help. We have decided to make our weekend at Kohl's Ranch Cabin an annual thing! Already counting down the days until our next trip!
