This cabin is amazing! Very spacious and fully stocked. Beautifully decorated and in a nice neighborhood. Would love to stay there again!

This was our 2nd time here and it feels like home.We stayed here in April 2017 and now 2 years later when we had the opportunity to come to Arizona again, we didn't even consider staying anywhere else. After my family of six (2 Adults & 4 Kids all teenagers) travelled for 33 hours from our home in South Australia, we were grateful to arrive at this beautiful family home. We felt right at home from the moment we stepped in the front door. It was very clean, comfortable beds, and had everything you could possibly need. The owner was very helpful with all of our questions and a pleasure to deal with.We made great memories visiting National Parks & Monuments, in close driving distance from the house, such as Grand Canyon, Petrified Forest, Wupatki, Sunset Crater Volcano, Walnut Canyon, Tuzigoot, Montezuma Castle & Well. We also visited Buffalo Park & Elden Pueblo, & went hiking at Fay Canyon, Fatman´s Loop, Rocky Ridge Trail, Arizona Snowbowl & Oak Creek Canyon. There was a lot more we could have done all in close driving distance from the house but we only had 11 days and had run out of time. We would most certainly go back again and recommend this home to others.Thank you so much for sharing your home with us again. We love the new bathroom.

The only reason I´m giving it a 4 star is because I´m a mattress snob with a bad back and the master bedroom sleep number was not good to me. Everything else was perfect. We had all that we needed for a successful stay for a family of 5.

This was a wonderful girls getaway! We did bring our kids who enjoyed playing in the snow. There is plenty to do at this cabin. We enjoyed volleyball, ping pong, pool, and the hot tub. The place is large, well stocked, and comfortable! My sister brought karaoke machine as well.

We enjoyed our stay at the Nakai Chalet. The kids loved the hot tub, ping pong table and games. The adults appreciated the well-appointed kitchen and baths. Kachina Village is the perfect location for exploring Flagstaff and Sedona. We look forward to returning!

The house was ideal for us (4 friends getting together for a long weekend). It's spacious, clean and nicely decorated and it had everything we needed in the kitchen. We enjoyed playing ping pong and then watching a movie in the living room which is very cozy. The bedrooms are all really comfortable. The 4th bedroom is in the loft and doesn't have much privacy since there are no doors and you have to walk through it to get downstairs - but one friend stayed in the room and didn't mind. The only issue we had was the house is a longer drive to Sedona than we realized - about 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on our route. Otherwise, we loved it and had a wonderful stay!

This house was perfect! Beautiful, comfortable and perfect for families. The owners thought of everything and had lots of nice touches. The jacuzzi and ping pong table provided lots of entertainment. I'd highly recommend this house.

This is a fantastic house with a great location. We loved that we could easily make day trips of hiking to the Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Sedona and Jerome. The house was in great condition, well stocked and there was plenty of room for the 5 of us (parents and 3 older teens). The upstairs shower in the master in kind of small, but we just used the bigger shower downstairs. We all loved the hot tub and ping pong table. Clara made check in and check out very easy for us. We would recommend to anyone!

Beautiful cabin, it´s a place that you can difinitley relax and enjoy the beauty of flagstaff. The cabin has all the ammendities and has gave us everlasting memories. Highly recommend the cabin to a family looking to make memories.

My friends and I spent a long weekend at the Chalet to celebrate my birthday. It was everything we could have hoped for and more. We took full advantage of the pool table, ping pong, and the hot tub during those cold November nights. The upstairs bathroom was in the process of being remodeled and did not have a mirror when we arrived. Clara was wonderful and even went so far as to get a temporary one placed in the bathroom for us during our stay. We loved the open spaces and truly felt at home during our stay here. We will definitely be looking into coming back in the near future!

The cabin was decorated in a very cozy, welcoming way. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty to do in the home including ping-pong and pool, which the kids loved. The main living room had a spacious feel. The kitchen was equipped well. The hot tub was great, especially with the cold weather. Location was convenient for a day trip to the Grand Canyon, and another day trip to meteor crater.

Our family of six enjoyed a week's stay at the Nakai Chalet last week. This home provided a haven for our busy family so we could make breakfasts, dinner, watch movies, laugh, play pool/pingpong, enjoy a dip in the hot tub on the deck and more! We did not make use of the grill. Clara's home was outfitted with numerous kitchen offerings - lots of dishes, pots/pans, loaded pantry so you don't have to buy 'the kitchen sink', great appliances, and more! My husband & I had the first floor master while our kids enjoyed the two BR's and loft area and shared another full bath. Everything worked well and water pressure/temperature was abundant and perfect. There were adequate notes around the home giving you info on how 'processes' worked such as trash/recycling, TV/entertainment systems, etc. but you can always email or call if a real emergency emerged. We loved the convenience of this location too - just outside Flagstaff which has tons to do and a short but stunning drive through the switchbacks to Sedona! Every day more signs of God and His creation were visible to us ... snow storm, animal life, majestic beauty of Grand Canyon, hot air balloons, Sedona and its splendor, and more! Plenty to do in this area.... one week won't do it... we may be coming back next year and if we do, we will attempt to stay here again! You can tell Clara has been doing VRBO quite some time.... so many of the kinks that could be problem-some are not .... and that is worth its weight in gold. Thanks for making our stay a great one.

My wife and I along with our daughter and her 3 adult children stayed here for one week. We had a fantastic time using Clara's home as a base to go to the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Montezuma Castle and Walnut Canyon National Park. We loved WCNP and thought it was even more interesting than Mesa Verde as there were no crowds there. The 45 minute drive south on hwy 89A to Sedona alone is a beautiful drive and Sedona is breathtaking. We felt really at home while enjoying the large TV and BBQ. The kitchen is nice sized and well equipped with a huge frig/freezer. Beds were great as well. We did not use the hot tub. Pool Table was interesting as the pot stove sometimes was in the way but it was still fun to play. I have rented many times through VBRO and we were very pleased and may rent here again in a few years if everything goes well for us. We had one hiccup early on as we had no hot water. We called the owner and it turned out that the water heater which is located outside in the basement broke. It took a few days to get the replacement water heater installed due to weekend and the need to go to Phoenix to pick it up. Clara showed so much concern for us as we were without hot water for a few days that she reimbursed us a very fair amount for our inconvenience. I cannot imagine there being a better owner from whom to rent which is further proven by other renter's comments posted here. You will be making a wise decision when you stop researching and book your stay at Nakai Chalet. Thank you again Clara for being such a nice person. The Helbergs

A gorgeous chalet that became our "home away from home" for 9 glorious days. Cozy, tastefully decorated, well-stocked with more than we possibly could need. Clara was always quick with her responses, and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay at her mountain home would be a highlight of our trip. We played pool every night, and snuggled up on the super comfy sofas to watch movies on the big TV in the living room. I highly recommend the Nakai Chalet!

Everything was great! I really felt that the owners provided for all our needs. The selection of games and things for little children was outstanding. We didn't have any one under 18 but it was obvious that the owners really cared. I would love to stay there again.

We were driving back from lake Powell because of an unexpected turn of weather and needed a place to stay. Clara was very responsive and so sweet to talk to. She was able to accommodate us upon arrival into flagstaff. The place was so perfect for our little family. We fell in love with flagstaff and will definitely be returning here! Thank you again Clara for going above and beyond our expectations!!!

Very comfortable cabin. Well equipped with everything one has in their own home. Hot tub was a nice evening treat. Kitchen is great and we used the gas grill as well. Played scrabble and a few games of pool. Grand Canyon is 1 hour and 40 minutes. Take the route through Cameron. Mcmillans in old Flagstaff is a great joint! Downtown is less than 15 min. I recommend this cabin. 😁

We just stayed at Nakai Chalet and had a wonderful time. Very convenient to Sedona and Grand Canyon and more. The house was very nice, well maintain, very spacious and in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was wonderful and the hot tub was a nice treat. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely stay here again if/when we make it back to Arizona.

Our family had a wonderful visit to Arizona while staying at the Nakai Chalet. We were looking for a location, close to Sedona, but also in a place that allowed us to explore other areas nearby. For this the house was fantastic - easily accessing Route 17 and 40. Sedona was a 25-30 minute drive through a scenic canyon and Flagstaff was 5 min. While we spent most of our time in Sedona - this location allowed us to get to the Grand Canyon, Petrified Forrest, and Sunset Crater- places I don't know if we would have gone if we had been further south. The house is clean, well maintained, and fit our family of six easily. We enjoyed the hot tub (well kept) and pool table the most. The kitchen and downstairs bath (heated floor!) are beautiful. Probably most important was the kindness and responsiveness of the owners. We had a small hiccup at the start of our stay (nothing that could have been foreseen,) and from her response it was evident that Clara does care deeply that visitors have a wonderful stay. We just stayed at Nakai Chalet and had an amazing, relaxing time! There was plenty of room for my 3 teenage kids (each had their own bedroom or loft area). The great room is beautiful, with a 30 foot ceiling and large windows. It has a pool/ping pong table that we played each night. The kitchen is new and stocked with all the amenities of home. We were able to grill dinner and eat out on the deck. We sat in the hot tub each night and watched the stars, which was a relaxing way to end the day. The Chalet is in a very quiet neighborhood surrounded by large pine trees. It is about 10 minutes to Flagstaff and 40 minutes to Sedona. A perfect location for visiting the Grand Canyon and hiking the different trails/sites around Sedona and Flagstaff.

Clara was a wonderful host and the chalet was stocked with everything you could ask for. I left something behind and she went the extra mile to mail it to me the next day! The chalet itself is BEAUTIFUL. We loved the decor and the views. We would definitely stay here again!

The comfortable chalet was a perfect landing spot for our family of 6 after our daily ventures into Hoover Dam, Sedona, the Grand Canyon, and the Snowbowl. The washer, dryer, dishwasher, hot tub, stocked kitchen, and pool table were at the top of the list. Your accommodations are well thought out, homey and generous. My family and I love staying at Carla's Nakai Chalet. We visited Flagstaff, Sedona and the Grand Canyon on our trip and loved coming back to the Chalet each night to cook, play ping pong and spend time in the hot tub. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. Highly recommend!

Here is a cabin you can rent with everything you will need to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. The cabin is spotless, the decor is tasteful, appliances are new and well maintained and it's located close to all the shops and attractions.

Very clean, everything you need is there, plenty of games for all ages, pool table was great, room to spread out if you are more then 6 people. Took walks everyday, neiborhood is quiet, easy to get to flagstaff and other areas. Before you pick a room, check out what kind of matress you want.....very firm or on the softer side. Loved sitting in the hot tub first thing in the morning. Thank you we loved our stay

We were in town for a family wedding and stayed over a long weekend. Everything from booking to check out went well. This place was around the corner from my sisters place so very convenient for our stay. We had little time for sight seeing due to family events and decided on the Grand Canyon for our 1 allotted day trip. It was an easy day trip and amazing! I am already planning to return and would definitely use this rental on my return. Clara was always quick to respond from booking and throughout. We did not spend a lot of time in the rental but during the time we did everything was very comfortable. We were able to enjoy the hot tub several evenings and that was a definite plus. Thank you Clara for sharing your beautiful home.

We had 2 seniors, 3 adults and a 2 year old that stayed in this comfy home. This house had every single thing you would need while vacationing! We forgot a few things and Clara had it in the house already, which saved us from purchasing :) We especially loved the cooler for our longer day trips! We will definitely recommend this cute cabin to family and friends!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Clara's house......can't say enough about the accommodations and HUGE luxurious kitchen! Anything & everything you need is there in the kitchen....just bring some food! House was also very clean, great views from the deck, lotsa light from big windows. One tip, though; there are a lot of dogs in the neighborhood, some left outdoors at night....so expect some barking during late hours. One trick to drown out the noise is to just plug in one of the portable fans in your bedroom (Clara seems to have everything covered!)....we slept great after that :) Big thanks to Clara for sharing her wonderful place.

We have stayed several times at the Nakai Chalet. We really enjoyed ourselves at this place. This place is big, spacious, clean and it has all the amenities you need, want and more. We enjoyed the hot tub while others grilled in the new BBQ. There are a lot of games to play and for all ages. Our family loved playing ping-pong and pool. The chalet is conveniently close to the freeway, 10 minutes away from downtown. Clara, the owner, made everything easy and stress free and she has put so much thought into every detail.

We rented this cabin for a four day weekend with our two kids- ages 1 and 3. Packing was simple because a full size crib, booster seats, play mat, and lots of toys and children's movies were already included in the cabin! The kids LOVED playing with the new toys and having a fenced play space in the backyard. My husband and I loved the hot tub after the kids went to bed! It was so relaxing and quite an experience to sit in a 102 degree hot tub when it's 29 degrees outside and snowing!! The owner was very accommodating easy to work with and she's really done a nice job and making you feel right at home in the cabin. It's terrific to have all the comforts of home - including cable and internet, which a lot of places don't have. We traveled in February of 2010 and had quite a snowstorm come through! We loved seeing the large snowflakes fall and seeing all the trees covered in white! The kids had never seen so much snow, so it was very exciting for them. We were able to do lots of sledding and build a large snowman in the backyard with the provided snowman making kit. We will keep this place at the top of our list for future northern Arizona stays and would love to come back with the grandparents now that we know there is plenty of space for a large family and tons of amenities!
