My husband and I stayed here for his birthday weekend. The house is amazing and so unique. It almost feels like a treehouse. It was so relaxing to sit overlooking the creek. Kelly´s suggestions in her "guidebook” were spot on. We were so lucky this gem was available for our use! Will definitely be back again!

The Berry house sits on the creek where you can enjoy a a glass of wine on the balcony while listening to the tranquil water as it flows down the creek. The house is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay in Sedona. Kelly Berry is quick to respond to emails and has a book on site with suggestions for restaurants and site seeing adventures. Make sure to hike the West Fork trail and grab a bite to eat at the Indian Creek Market within walking distance from the house.

Berry's Creek is the ideal place to stay for a trip to Sedona. Get's you away from the crowds a bit, but you can still walk to Indian Gardens for coffee and breakfast. The creek is cool and refreshing even when its hot out on the rock. We had a great stay, can't wait to come back.

My family has stayed in many VRBO homes through the years, but this was one of our favorites. The Berry´s creekside home feels like you are in treehouse with beautiful views of the hills, trees and creek. Kelly decorated the place top-notch and offers so many sweet touches - rock decorating corner, adult coloring books, organic soaps, hummingbird feeders, lovely outdoor furniture. This spot is nice because it´s close to Sedona, but away from the traffic. We also made a drive up to Flagstaff and Sliding Rock State Park. Thanks for the great accommodations!

What a lovely setting: very quiet and peaceful. The home is stocked with everything you can possibly need. There is plenty of living space and lots of suggested indoor and outdoor activities. Alexa was fun to talk to and provided music during our stay. It was also very helpful having a detailed description of the property amenities and instruction manual for all of the electrical appliances as well as suggested restaurants in the surrounding area. The Kelly's couldn't have been more hospitable and welcoming. Thank you for making your home available.

What a wonderful home, directly on the creek. The home is very roomy with plenty of places to relax and listen to the water. Outside, there is the amazing balcony right over the creek, in front is a courtyard with a conversation pit, and in back just below the balcony is a sitting area mere inches from the water. The kitchen is fully stocked. Since my wife prepares most of our meals, she put it to good use. Kelly, I appreciate the new Keurig coffee maker which was waiting for us when we arrived. I added the Safeway app to my phone and got the store discounts. At Bashas there is a courtesy card at each register. The large capacity washer and dryer are very nice and easy to use. There was more than ample closet and chest of drawer space for us. The notebook with information on the home and the area is very valuable. The area has many fine restaurants – we celebrated our anniversary at Dahl and DiLuca. We had no problem with cell service – ATT. The internet connection was solid. We made good use of the hummingbird feeder. It was fun to watch them. Last week we watched a hawk circle around the cliffs across from the house. The second week, a hawk buzzed the window in the work area and then proceeded to perch in a tree about 15 feet out. Thanks again for sharing your home.

Wonderful creek side home...just as described! As soon as my 11 year old daughter walked in she said, "I want to stay forever!” She loved the bed by the window and was lulled to sleep by the sound of the creek. Too cold for us to explore the water (March 2019), but we will be back when it is warmer. I know she´ll be wading in the creek and I´ll be sitting outside in the rocking chair sipping wine. House was clean and bright. The add on room was not complete on our visit...no flooring, ceiling only had insulation, and the walls were drywall. It was a little unsettling at first, but everything else made up for it and by the next morning I didn´t even notice it. (It will look fabulous when it is all done!). We have stayed in many VRBOs and this one was well stocked! You know how you always need just one ziplock bag to store leftovers or a tea bag for the cold nights? Well, this had it and more! We filled the hummingbird feeder the first night and enjoyed watching the birds visit us. The guest book was well written...we followed the hiking suggestions and the map was very helpful. The Red Rock trail pass was used everyday. We strongly suggest hiking before 10am. Parking spots were very hard to come by after that. I greatly appreciated the detailed instructions in the guest book on how to use all the amenities. You don´t always find that in other VRBOs. We strongly recommend this property and thank the owners for sharing their lovely home on the creek. (Be sure to hike Doe Mtn in the morning...the view was spectacular! Hike Devil´s Bridge too, take a Pink Jeep tour, and Picazzo´s for a meal.)

The house is exactly as advertised!! Right on the creek, comfortable for the four of us...my husband and I, and his sister and her husband. We loved being right on Oak Creek!..and it was REALLY raging when we arrived due to a storm that included 3 ft of snow in Flagstaff! But we were toasty warm inside, enjoyed all the comforts of home! Very quiet area. We had other friends over one evening and had no problem seating all eight of us, and the kitchen has everything you need! Probably the only drawback was the lack of a closet in the 2nd bedroom, but that really didn't impact us that much!! Just worth knowing. I confess to being a warm weather person and love Sedona in the summer. We hope to go back and enjoy this wonderful property when trees are full...and enjoy all the outdoor amenities!!

What a relaxing getaway along Oak Creek with the late winter rushing water providing a continuous, relaxing white noise. This home had everything we needed to relax for the week including a comfortable bed and an adequately stocked kitchen to eat in a couple of times. Internet service is great and the new addition with its mid-century vibe is a great place to hang out. We especially liked the beautiful walnut coffee table! No more than 10 minutes to Uptown Sedona but just like being away from it all. Will definitely be back.

Everything was amazing at Berry Creek! The property is as good as advertised. We loved relaxing and enjoying the sounds of Oak Creek off the decks. The amenities were above average - great Wifi, satellite, etc. the beds were comfy and lots of blankets for the cold nights. The property makes you feel like you are away from it all, but is minutes away from all the great hiking spots, and perfectly situated for drives up Oak Creek Canyon. Our 6 year old loved the house and we played down by the creek every day. We would highly recommend this property, and look forward to returning.

My friend and I loved staying at this beautiful home for 4 days in early November. The setting was wonderful with the crystal clear waters of Oak Creek running right behind the spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath home. There are great views of the creek and dramatic canyon walls from a new balcony as well as from the many windows along the back. The sound of the flowing water together with the beautiful fall foliage made it all magical. The entire house is tastefully decorated with many warm family touches and fun Southwestern art. Within walking distance from the house, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at Indian Gardens and a great selection of blizzard milkshakes at Dairy Queen. The best meal in Sedona was the amazing and creative Mexican cuisine at the Elote Cafe. As someone who needs to avoid gluten, Picasso Pizza and Whole Foods Market let us have 2 great dinners and all of our breakfasts back at the house. Hiking around Sedona was amazing and our HomeAway hosts' suggestions were spot on. We also had the thrill of an easy day trip to the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Our hosts were extremely responsive and communicative from start to finish. All their directions and recommendations were helpful and the house rules completely reasonable. I really can't imagine a better accommodation in this area and sincerely hope to return many times in the years to come.

I wish I lived there! Loved every minute of it! Saw the black hawk the day we arrived and days after saw it flying up and down the creek. There were other birds too that we loved to watch while sitting at the desk (yes, had to work on vacation - but this place made work a pleasure!) the master bed was amazing - we had the best sleep every night and hated to leave. Great location! Totally recommend to everybody out there looking for a place near Sedona. It's perfect. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Sedona is a favorite place for us at Thanksgiving, and Berry's home on Oak Creek was the perfect choice for our stay. Our daughter and her husband, along with my husband and I, felt at home in the cozy two bedroom, two bathroom home. Everything for a comfortable stay was available. Having two parking places was also appreciated, since many cabins had only street parking. Kelly mentioned the road was very bumpy, but we have an SUV so it didn't seem as bad as she had advised. Loved the view, loved the location, loved how comfortable everything was! Thank you, Kelly, for sharing your lovely home. I hope you know how much we appreciated using it.

 5.0   -   Berry Creekside "treehouse"
Reviewed on Sep 25, 2017
This property is not only in a great location, is also feels very comfortable from the moment you arrive. Mom just so happened to be there when we arrived to complete any finishing touches, and she was so helpful and sweet. We loved how the home is open and airy and with the windows looking over the creek that gives the feel of being in a treehouse, and yet there nooks that were cozy. The porches were great places to sit to just listen to the water with morning coffee, or afternoon wine, and were fun places to watch others climb the rocks to the water. And the secluded front courtyard is a great place to congregate for a "picnic" style meal, or better yet, the firepit - where we made smores.... yummm. The house had so much, from very comfortable beds with extra blankets for cuddling under, to plenty of towels & great smelling soaps and shampoos, dishes & cookware, cozy seating, to even a crafting corner with coloring supplies. (The rock art kept our 5 year old niece busy for hours). We are so happy we "found" this hideout. And Kelly is so nice, responsive and accommodating. She is a great host. I almost hate to write a review in order to keep this gem a secret.... shhhhh. :) We definately will keep this one on our list for future visits.
